Very much the heart and soul of the company, not just a figurehead/overall guider like Jobs. Also seems like he was universally beloved by employees, which should make it even more of a blow. Miyamoto is probably the closer comparison to Jobs. And I am so out of touch with Nintendo nowadays, didn't even realize that Hiroshi Yamauchi has been gone for over 10 years. I thought Iwata was a relatively new guy. | ||
