Welcome new reader to the first publicly available Liquipedia Monthly. This is a short update mostly aimed for the people who are interested in the behind the scenes of the wiki. And to our old readers (the Liquipedia Contributor Forum people) welcome back, hope you like the new layout, courtesy of FO-nTTaX.
July was a month of big tournaments pretty much every week. HSC XI, ESL ESEA, DH:Valencia, IEM Shenzhen, EVO, and of course the start of The International 5.
Counter-Strike became the third biggest wiki this month and Smash the fourth as the wiki had a great month thanks to EVO, doubling the number of contributors. Things are looking up pretty much across the board, but July is often a good month for esports viewing figures, more people are on vacation, more tournaments happening etc.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed it but this month has also had a lot of “I wish liquipedia would make a wiki for _____” comments around social media etc. Smash 4, StreetFighter being the most common ones. Luckily for the first group we are almost finished making the smash wiki ready to host all Smash titles. However if you want to help out start a wiki for a new game feel free to let me know.

Jealous has been making helpful grammar and language fixes to various older pages, advancing to editor status with his efforts (Cheers!). Whether it’s ToSsGirL, build pages or old Proleague pages, he’s been everywhere. On current pages, SSL11 is ongoing and was the page that enjoyed the most updating during live play. GeckoXP brought the Defiler Tour and variety of older foreign tournament pages up to date, as well as cleaned up many less notable players to the Userspace. LetaBot has been organizing a series of one-day bot & human tournaments (BWAPI tour) and has kept those pages well organized.
The Monthly Goals
There are still a lot old tournaments missing and every bit of help adding old tournaments is appreciated. Even though some work on old Proleagues were done, these very important team leagues are still not on par with their StarCraft II counterparts, so if you are looking for somewhere to help out, this is your chance.

Thank you to everyone keeping the tournament pages, as well as player/team result pages updated. It’s great to see that the SC2 Liquipedia is often quickly up-to-date, especially for the big tournaments.
Thanks CynicalDeath, Inflicted, Yhamm, SNSeigifried, and Pretender58, all five at more than 750 edits for the month of July.
NeoBlade is working on strategy articles, including Legacy of the Void strategy. I haven’t looked at the pages in detail, but thanks for doing this anyway.
Sorry if other notable contributions have been missed.
The Monthly Goals
I’ll try to implement new templates or template changes for archon tournaments this month. So, I’ll probably need help doing that, or changing the existing pages to use the new templates.
But really, edit what you enjoy editing.

Automated Results (for players and teams) were added by Whisper. Whisper has created many results pages and concepts, with Elyvilon and Muriloricci creating some as well. tehh4ck3r, Elyvilon and to a lesser extent Muriloricci and Whisper have worked on some tournament pages by adding or increasing prize pool start templates, including information about the results, and adding TeamCards.
To assist with the process of adding prize pool start and TeamCard templates, Vappy used a bot to add categories to pages with Infobox league that lack prize pool start and/or TeamCards.
For now manual achievement tables have remained since there aren’t automated results for all tournaments and the tier discussion is yet to reach a consensus.
For the TI5 updates there’s too many to mention, but I’ll try anyways:
Yhamm, Whisper, Seanzk, Elyvilon, Androxide, Jimmygod and Ricci
Shloub has worked on deleting images that were uploaded to Liquipedia without declaring permission from the copyright holder.
Also thanks to aeroblaster for the endless work on the game and hero articles.
And Inc4ns for adding more info about many teams and players.
The Monthly Goals
Multisquad rollout is happening, focusing on TI teams first.
Adding prize pool start and/or TeamCards to old tournaments, and increasing existing prize pool start and TeamCards to include all participants in a tournament so that all results are recorded.
Creating results concept and pages for any players and teams that don’t have them yet, with a temporary exception for teams that have multiple rosters. Some players and teams already had a results table similar to their achievements table, it hasn’t been discussed how to proceed in these cases..

Hzhenyu007 is the top contributor again keeping many pages updated, tournaments, teams, players. JustJK is number two, and his contributions are more aimed at updating Vicious Syndicate Gaming and Tuesday Night Hype.
The Monthly Goals
We need to keep the tournament results updated for the bigger live tournaments.
Information about the new expansion should be added to the wiki.

Two new faces, Pikachu942 and Onleal91, helped updating the massive Apex 2015 brackets. Others who helped out with the crazy huge EVO 2015 bracket were kaabistar, Lafungo, Ricci, Chapa, Yhamm, Swampflare, and of course Shloub.
The Monthly Goals
Preparing the wiki for the other smash titles. The portal pages is the next big piece of the puzzle. We also can’t forget to cover Super SmashCon and Heir II The Throne to keep showing the quality of the wiki to the smash community.

The Contributions
July’s top contributors were Hzhenyu007, Iakona13, DARKING, and Valiver. The growth of this wiki is bolstered by tournaments but people come in more and more each day. All thanks to content worth coming back for.
The Monthly Goals
With the wiki’s continuous growth I’d like us to make sure to keep tournament results up to date as the top priority. Hero information and links to builds and guides would be good too.

The Contributions
The Counter-Strike wiki is growing just fine and already had quite a few new people contributing. We are still working on converting legacy pages to the Liquipedia standard, but we are getting there. Whisper (aka Raven/RavenWhispers), FO-nTTaX, Vappy (aka Zabi), tolkienfanatic, Omarion and EaRTh-2 have been the driving people behind the wiki this month, but more than 100 people total helped out, so thanks for that.
Swampflare has done several weapon finish pages and Androxide has done some as well.
The Monthly Goals
The two main goals at this point is finishing the merging process and keeping tournaments up to date. There is still a lot of pages to be merged, and we could use all the help we can get to merge these.
Wiki Changelog
Not too much changed this month regarding cross wiki things, since The International already overshadowed everything and we did not want to break anything right before this biggest of all tournaments. We had a site maintenance, which lead to many people worrying about us during the downtime, warming our hearts. We appreciate you like the wikis so much.
