Liquipedia is one of the most important esports resources in the world, and we're constantly looking for ways to improve and expand our wiki. LP has grown immensely since it was first launched as a BW strategy portal, and it's amazing what we've been able to accomplish because of Liquipedia's wonderful community.
We're always planning for the future, and Liquipedia is growing non-stop. We are now looking for a full-time MediaWiki Developer to turn our wiki dreams into reality. Applicants should be well versed in all things wiki; Liquipedia volunteers will of course be preferred! Team Liquid can provide housing for candidates willing to move to our Utrecht HQ, but they should be able to take care of themselves and be mindful of others around them. If you're a wiki wizard who loves esports, then make sure to send us an application.

It depends on how much experience an applicant has, if they would want us to organize the housing for them etc.

Uhm I guess I didn't make that very clear. I'm not saying it would be minimum wage. If you fulfill most requirements it would be a decent salary for someone with those skills.

Huh, that's interesting. Will the Liquipedia developer be potentially involved later on with non liquipedia stuff as well? I have soft spot for TL in general <3 but I wonder if switching to full time PHP / JS is good choice for me.

Developing for Liquipedia will be the main part of the job, but obviously if the person has the skills to help out with development on TL community or pro site (or mini sites etc) that might be something they'll be asked to do too to help out when other parts of the company needs help, but it would only be a small portion of the time.

Hopefully it's maintained very well. When picking up PHP projects two things I look for, how the architect designed the system, and documentation. WGTour was spaghetti, but worked lol.

Since we are working in an external framework with MEdiaWiki our code is pretty well split up, easy to find things etc.
