Raynor is underrated due to his stigma of being noob friendly. It's well deserved, a lot of absolute noobs play Raynor and have no idea how to actually utilize his strengths.
That said, Raynor can be a beast hero in the right hands against the right comp. Most heroes can. I won a comeback win today (granted at 2k MMR) with Stitches as our main tank. I got annihlated in a game earlier today when we had both Jaina and Kael on our team.
For the most part I want to recommend to people to play whatever heroes they are a good with. A good low tier hero player is ultimately better than a bad high tier hero player.

Jaina wasn't helping much either, getting caught out of position stupidly several times. No, nonono. They can't keep dodging all the time, they have to get in there and do damage! If the healer won't keep them alive, it's not their fault. Have you never played Butcher?! You sure don't think like one!
I'm starting to think that you're being sarcastic.

lol this guy just now
He was playin Leoric in a HL match, laning the whole game and keeping near our core, saying he needs more Exp. Never came to a TF, Reasoning we shouldn't engage without him. Would all be fine but you kinda need to do objectives otherwise you lose. Later he blamed the team for feeding, which is also kinda true cause when you never engage in a fight you dont die and staying near the corer is a pretty safe spot.
Amazingly the whole team was still quite polite talking till the end. needsless to say we lost horribly
Edit: It was Blackhearts bay, so TF is really kinda mandatory We havn't payed one single ship i believe

dammit its butcher free week. Playing Raynor in QM, but them butchers just don't show up on my team. yeah first world problemes here.

This really pisses me off too. People should be as transparent as possible with who they want to play as/ what niche they want to fill, as soon as possible due to the countdown. It's very frustrating to get screwed out of a healer or other standard pick.

Getting so fucking tired of this game. I'm not saying I'm pro or anything of the sort, but it frustrates me to constantly get matched with people that make absolutely retarded decisions and are supposed to be on the same level. Getting insane loss streaks.
It's got to the point where I don't even want to play it anymore unless I have a 5-stack, the soloqueue experience is just that terrible for me lately.
snag.gy ^ Example of the kind of games I'm getting. The stealth did the exact opposite of what they needed to do the whole game. The only aba kill in the game came after I called them out on not doing anything about him and started constantly pointing out his location, eventually they got him once. Not until he had pushed the shit out of the map for at least 10 minutes uncontested.
Also of the other heroes and teamfights, ignoring jaina is such an amazing idea. What is an even better idea is to focus the sonya that went full tanky talents. I just can't take this anymore ;_;

Uther, Nova, Brightwing, Abathur, Murky.
All on one team.

oh I had that too, it was glorious though.
I had a Suicide Butcher with "chicken" Rhegar game in QM today. Butcher started to complain bla bla bla. Died 2v5. Complained about 0 damage Rhegar at the end when we won. Thrall and me on Sylvanas had to save his ass when he charged in with our ults every time, usually dieing because Nova/Butcher were just waiting for that or getting to low to fight. We often got one more kill out of that though. Was really lucky that Thrall know what he was doing and that Nova never got her full stacks. While I failed to apply envenom to her the whole game. Wonder why the Butcher and Nova went for me the whole game, the only one with escape.

Why do people play Hero-League if they are only willing to play their favourite hero? I get tons of matches with Gaz and Nazeebo in the same game. I like playing my favourite heroes too, but when i queue up for Hero-League i will choose whats needed most. I think you should be willing/able to play all roles when queuing up for Hero-League...
Got a game where we had picks in this order: 1. valla 2. nova. 3. butcher. 4. malf (me ).....last guy picked nazeebo, then went afk after first teamfight lost...his last words were:
"we got no chance, let them win. I want to play a real game"
I got so mad, you would´t believe it

I always mentally fill in what they are saying:
"we got no chance [because I'm an awful excuse for a human being and give up the moment anything gets even slightly difficult even though there is ample evidence that I could succeed if I just applied myself]."

man i love getting matched with rank 49-49-47-33 as a rank 19 with decent MMR. this is the 3rd time in a row thx blizz

Just played a game with a Diablo who was literally arguing with everyone for the whole game that we shouldn't be soaking lanes ever nor should we be going for the dubloons/ pirate on BB. He just did merc camps the whole game. Sigh.

Get 6mins+ every time as soloQ, then get matched with 4 other specialists against a team with 3 assassins. Are they even trying?
I've been the highest rated player on my team in every game for weeks now (according to hotslogs). Most of these as the heavily favored team. I think Blizzard thinks I suck =(

Have won 17 of my last 20 games on heroleague. I mean, that's great and all: but it does mean that every time I queue up I have this feeling of dread that the matchmaker is going to smack me down on the 8 game losing streak that would be required to get me back to a 50% win rate.
Ugh. Ladder anxiety!

Just played a game with an Illidan who kept suiciding and then ragequit/ went afk for half the game. Then he fed the team by running into forts on purpose. The entire time he was BMing our team (who was actually playing decently well) with "you all suck i'm rank 1 you dont know how to play".

Ugh. Ladder anxiety! That's really not how it works. The game never tries to "get you back to 50% win rate". It tries to get you a game in which you'll have 50% to win right now.
If you overshot your rank, you will likely lose a few because your team will be weaker everytime, but if you got better, the game doesn't give you impossible games to hit that magical 50% winrate.
The matchmaking has some glaring flaws in this game (and most games, really), but that isn't one of them.

I guess my assumption is that I'm getting massively lucky and overshooting my true mmr, therefore there will eventually by a series of losses to make up for my massive win streak.

+ Show Spoiler +
Well, after a bunch of HL games I had an itch to play Kerrigan again after a long time. Since a Kerrigan pick might lead to issues in HL I decided for a quick QM match. Ofcourse, the matchmaker had to go trollmode and give us a Tassadar and no tank vs Uther with a Tyreal. We also had a suicidal Illidan to top things off.
Kerrigan was still fun to play though and her combo is still deadly. I did find a new appreciation for the Ultralisk. That thing ain't bad when the enemy team doesn't focus it down. Nova also absolutely hates it. Good luck running away and trying to cloak up with an Ultralisk chewing on you. Normally I'd also go Maelstrom but against a Tyrael and Illidan jumping me with an Uther for a potential Divine Shield I figured I wouldn't last very long to make the most of Maelstrom, whereas the Ultralisk is more fire and forget (and sometimes redirect).
That said, I do find it amazing how often Illidan managed to get himself killed. Granted, we had no healer but 14 times? Kerrigan has nowhere near his disengage and I managed to get killed only once and still be present in all the teamfights except the one when two shrines were up I went for one (and held it). I had to disengage with like 10% health a couple of times but it beats dying all the time (Sprint and Bolt ftw).
Guess I'll stick to HL where at least the team will have a healer and a tank.
