- Nova clones can pick up healing globes.
- When capturing the Knights mercenary camps, you can start the fight behind the caster minion. This way at least one of the melee Knights will not be able to hit you.
- After losing their targets, most summoned minions will start to attack down the nearest lane. The exception - Zagara's Hydras will burrow into the ground and disappear when the target dies or is unreachable.
- The Dragon Knight and Garden Terror both don't count as a minion, so talents like Tychus' Melting Point do no extra damage against them.
- You can shift-queue commands just like in Starcraft.
- If a stealthed hero begins to capture an active temple on Sky Temple, the guardians will see through the stealth and attack the hero, bringing them out of stealth.
- Stealthed heroes still block pathing even while cloaked.
- Zeratul's Void Prison freezes any "tug-o-war" map objectives it touches, and prevents them from being captured. This means any objective with a progress bar will freeze (such as capturing a merc camp), but objectives like Sky Temples with no bar will not be affected.
- Nazeebo can cancel wall of zombies after casting it by reactivating the ability. Best used when you miss and trap an ally.
- Stitches' hooks cannot go through enemy buildings or neutral buildings (such as temples on the Sky Temple map). It can pass through your own buildings, but it won't pull the target through them. They will be dropped from the hook at the first spot their hitbox touches a building (so you can't pull them through walls).
- During dashing abilities you are immune to CC, but not to damage. This is great against a golem's smash, Dragon Knight's charge attack, and abilities like Uther's Divine Storm or Valla's Rain of Vengeance.
- Stitches' hook will bring the target to where Stitches initially casts the hook. Which means that if Stitches gets knocked away, the target will land where Stitches originally was.
- Abilities that target a specific unit, such as Illidan's Dive, Illidan's The Hunt, and Tyrael's Judgement will continue to follow the target if they get knocked away.
- If you take Infused hammer and piercing bolt as Muradin, you gain mana every time you hit two enemies with stormbolt.
- Chen is extremely useful for stealing camps. With his barrel ultimate, simply walk or jump onto the camp you're about to steal, then use barrel and dash around in circles while you push every threat away.
- Nova and Zeratul aren't exactly 100% stealth. You can easily see a shade while they walk around. If you think one of them is nearby, look for glimmering movement.
- When playing tri-lane on Cursed Hollow, take the Siege Camp on your side of the map around 2 minutes. This will allow you to keep one lane pushed up while your team goes for the tribute.
- When you take Siege Camp on Haunted Mines, be sure that the enemy's golem has at least walked past the entrance of their outer gates. This will make the Siege Giants stay behind your gate, doing massive damage to the enemy golem while safely behind your own gates. This only works for the first summoning.
- [Potential bug] Zeratul's Void Prison will not freeze certain abilities such as Stitches' gorge. If a hero gets gorged by Stitches, and Stitches gets trapped in a Void Prison, the hero will come out as per usual, and may land safely outside the Void Prison.
- [Most certainly a bug] Many particle effects and attack sounds are not hidden through fog of war, so you never need to guess when the enemy is doing a camp.

Maybe: - the dragon knight and garden terror get priority of the freeze attack from forts/keeps if there are no minions. Especially the dragon knight does far less damage this way so make sure to kill the minions if you can or when pushing with the knight try to have minions soaking. - there is almost no point in attacking a shielded unit if you're not going to break the shield before it runs out. Usually most relevant with tassadar's shield but also the protective shield talent. - stitches hook hits summoned minions, can be very useful to cast a hallucination or zombie wall to prevent the hook, especially when you're channeling your ult as nazeebo or nova. - mercs attack the closest target typically, use this to have the right hero soak damage. Some heroes with good sustain are excellent soakers like muradin, illidan, thrall etc. Sometimes you want to soak evenly spread so you can regain it easily with a healing ward and the health globes. Other times one hero has to hearth back anyway and you want to let him soak most. | ||
