for some reason this thread is not getting any love, although I think many people are searching for teams/players to go deep this season. If anyone wants to play some games (ranked/unranked/whatever...) on EU you can msg me here. I usually play after 5 p.m. European time (+1). I play all classes and usually my gf is there too, playing mainly tank or healer. Teamleague MMR is around 2.6k for both of us. Communication via Teamspeak is possible. LongShot27, I guess you play on NA?

Currently stuck in Silver. I swear I am really good for Silver, but it's hard to carry at this level as people don't listen to pings :-)

It really is entirely luck based in my experience. I had positive streaks and went up a couple of ranks, but also negative streaks when you have a series of games with completely hopeless people who don't listen to "danger" pings, walk off on their own, go face-first into fights when they are the support, and so on. I'm not even talking about the drafting phase, because at this level, you can win with pretty much any hero as long as you play correctly. As much as one can try to stay positive in those games, there's really nothing you can do. Unless the opposing team is even worse: I once won a game with two AFK in my team, which I thought was lost for sure. That's why I usually try to play with someone else. If you have two strong players in a team, it is a LOT easier to carry. In my experience assassins work better (even though that's not my primary role), because with two good assassins you can easily snipe someone in the opposing team very quickly. Do you have other suggestions on how to approach low ranks fights?

If you want to win in low level league, play bursty characters, If you can 100-0 there dps with Chromie, Nova, ect you win the next fight that happens

This will snowball the game in your favor. * Killing someone who is alone in their lane means that they will not be soaking that lane while they are dead/respawning. This will give your team an xp edge, which will help them in teamfights later. Actively looking for ganks is something that carries low-tier games hard, because low-tier players overextend a lot.

But, I currently have a strong friendslist with 6-7 people I enjoy duo-queuing with. In the end, it is tough to find partners in TL forums because people seem to be pretty evenly distributed from silver(or bronze?) to masters.
