EDIT: Potentially overpowered, all up to the numbers but the bastard looks cool. Good enough for me.

Good enough for me. Nice, a tank with good mobility, high AoE damage, and CC out the butt. Nothing can go wrong with this. I'll probably pick him up.

Edit: granted, as has been pointed out this is on max level with CDR, but still, that's crazy mobility.

He also wanted to give him a 240 movement speed, but the other devs nixed that Amumu will still have a place. Naut won't be able to surprise grab over walls, since Dredge Line pulls to the terrain instead. Bandage->Ult outta nowhere will still be scary as hell. So in one patch, we're getting two really good tanks who have the capability of jungling? Fsck yeah.

1. Building resists on a bruiser: Aegis - you're objectively wrong if you hate this item. seriously Randuin's Omen - ranged carries like to shoot bruisers as they kite them. this item is good when you get shot and when you get kited and also gives like 80 armor or something stupid like that. and it builds from HoG Wriggle's - gives 30 armor for no good reason and also gives unreasonable amounts of AD and lifesteal and buff control and did you know if also gives free wards? I'm pretty sure it has a hidden active to file your taxes too, I just haven't found it yet Atma's - it's like attaching a mini infinity edge to your chain vest for 1655 Wit's End - gives mres/offense for people who need mres and scale off of attack speed Hexdrinker - gives mres/offense for people who need mres and scale off of attack damage GA - good on people who can reposition/heal quickly on respawn Force of Nature - rarely worth buying early over aegis, but an incredible late game item. 2. Questions about wukong: Smash is writing a guide, give him some time. In the meantime R > E > Q > W, open wriggle's + defensive boots, then get standard AD scaling bruiser shit, favoring HP over resists because of your passive. 21/0/9 with all physical shit in offensive and movespeed tier 2 in utility. Regarding WW: He's going to be better than Irelia late game, but easier to kill early game (not by much). Net big time buff, people aren't realizing how big that base attack speed buff is. Regarding Shen: Not sure why they made Shadow Dash a 1 point wonder. Whole re-tool is kinda a clusterfuck, but probably a net positive. He's more tanky and more damaging, but I'm not really sure how his energy costs are going to play out now. Will be interesting to see, but I think it's hasn't net changed a whole lot for me. Still mostly interested in top lane with (optional wriggles) boots2 HoG Phage Aegis -> finishing with some mix of Triforce or Mallet, Omen, FoN, Atma's, and Warmog's.

His dredge line and R seem to have a pretty short range which I guess helps offset their great CC. And no slow or stun on non-main targets for R, only the knockup it seems.

Power Chord does way way less damage now, so it should be significantly better to use W power chord in early bot lane fights. Sona's harass is also a good amount weaker, although much of it does come from her Q base damage. Though I'd now say that if you need a support with CC, Alistar and Leona are better choices.

I think the ASpd-based scaling that the changed Ki Strike CDR mechanic gives him makes Wit's a must. Wit's not only adds to your damage by giving you more Ki Strikes, but Ki Strike giving you energy means having more attack speed is effectively worth energy regen. @guitar: I don't feel a 1-to-1 comparison on each aspect of Shen is really apt. The Ki Strike change and the overall re-tooling of his energy management mechanics entirely fundamentally alters a lot about the character. Overall my biggest concern about the rework is this: how does the overall energy management on the new Shen feel? Consider that an energy-based champion is designed entirely to be gated on energy usage. If the energy usage with all the new energy return mechanics is smooth enough that CDR becomes a potentially reasonable buy for Shen, that opens up a whole new can of worms, because CDR-enhanced Vorpal spamming and Shadow Dashing could be extremely abusive if his energy regen can support it.

His cc and skills are highly reminiscent of Blitz. Both are able to jungle, both are highly disruptive and tanky. I think it's all going to depend on Nautilus' numbers though. That ult not being a skillshot of any kind and him having a bunch more AoE than Blitz probably puts him out ahead overall, but if his ult/shield/passive/E deal decent damage then he'll be way out ahead.

Wit's has always been viable on him, just not sure if it's worth the delay on triforce when you're trying to spec offense. I dunno though, tough to say, his scaling is such that Mallet is pretty convenient too, and Mallet + Wit's is a pretty decent core. I will say with 95% certainty that AS reds are going to be the best option on him.
