But that only works if the enemy team focuses the tank or he's disruptive. Guess it'd work if the enemy were afraid of moving forward to focus a squishier target.
that's why all the good tanks in lol are disruptive... there's no tank that just tanks damage and doesn't CC or anything lol
Exactly. At the very least a tank calls damage onto himself (Rammus, Shen) or stuns/roots/slows/fears/silences you or something so you cant put out at much damage.

Something about teemo makes people want to dive him so hard...
I don't really know what it is, but you certainly don't dive a champ like Nautilus near as much.
Speaking of which, certain champs just are disgustingly more intimidating than others. For example, it just feels much more natural to shoot at THE BIG FRIGGEN BEAR(!!) than the Vayne in pink cosplay even though it the chick with the love letter that gonna kill your whole team.

Right. Self-cast and smart-cast are both incredibly useful independently.
Lol self-smartcast is by nature just designed to fuck you up in 'oh-shit' situations since that's where you mess up targeting with your mouse pointer XD

One time I saw this Volibear get one shot at level 1 by a Soraka. She leveled R first but had 180 AD anyways.
Edit: But that may have not been what happened, I was level 2 ganking on Blitz and didn't actually see it happen.
Edit#2: But it was just for my amusement so it may be a total lie.
anyone notice the mogs in atmogs is becoming less popular? a month ago i've seen soo many warmogs, but now it's pretty rare, except with on volibear/shen/mundo.

do you think this had to do with mogs nerf?
Been declining for longer than that, but I don't think the nerf impacted much. It's just really hard to be relevant in the midgame when all you have is a wriggles and warmogs. A lot of games never reach the point where you can actually reach the built-up lategame potential you're going for with warmogs, so it ends up wasted. You're often better off going a more balanced approach or shooting for early/midgame strength to snowball into a lategame lead.
It's very easy for warmogs to end up being cost-ineffective simply due to having more HP than you need, so people are finding it more logical to move onto survival items that provide more team-utility which is practically like every other tank item.
If you build items like aegis, shurelyas, or phage-items, you get something out of your money even if the enemy team ignores you. With warmogs, it's 3000 wasted gold if your HP doesn't drop below what warmogs gives while the outcome of the teamfight is still being contested.

Partly, but I think it's more to do with the power lull that comes with it. Walking around with a warmogs, wriggles and boots makes you a damage sponge, but unless you've got serious level advantage, you won't be doing much in the way of damage. Personally on most champs who need some HP I'd much rather go HoG+phage for a much smoother power curve.

Glabezugege... that's exactly what I've wondered how to do since I started playing Pantheon (and that has plagued me because I find it's kinda common sense but I can't seem to think about it myself T_T). Thank you so much!

It was irony from the LoLAccount, seeing as how LoL was called a DotA rip-out in the beginning (less so that HoN but still), that Maelk guy answered way too seriously.
