I've been playing noc as he's free atm and I kinda like him, but from what I understand he isn't a top tier jungler (and is also 6300). Also played amumu but I don't really like him even though he has a lot of utility.
So my question is: how are junglers tiered and which should I buy? I've got ~7k ip saved up. I've got a standard arp/as rune page, but do I need any specific runes (e.g. ms etc.) I also prefer the 'clear the jungle and gank at 4' strategy, but wouldn't mind trying my hand at a lvl2 gank. I've seen TOO's jungle guide and I don't really have problems clearing.
TL;DR: what junglers do i buy with 7k ip if i prefer ricing instead of ganking.
Go Trundle, definitely a top tier jungle. His clear speed and ganks are great, his overall damage and tankiness with just a few items is amazing and his counter-jungling is great too. I have no idea why he isn't picked more often imo
Because his clear speed isn't great at all these days (single target), and for solo queue he is rather bad because his ult only really works well with coordinated teams.

To add to the discussion - Trundle is one of the best junglers for a poke comp due to the fact that he can disengage easily with his wall.

imo trundle's ult needs to be a bit more obvious, kus yeah, ppl simply cannot see it, so you need some1 telling you in vent or something who is ulted.

What's the Galio syndrome?
galio syndrome = champ that's very strong, but not terribly exciting to play, and therefore isn't very common, despite possibly being overpowered. Not sure that's the case with sej tho, i dunno. i havn't actually played her tho, so i wouldn't really know.

I would say Udyr, Shyvana, Lee Sin, Maokai, and Nocturne are the top tier jungle picks right now. But I would also recommend trying Jarvan, Rammus, Mundo, and maybe skarner or ww.
With the 7k ip I would at least buy Udyr and then maybe Mundo or you could save for jarvan or one of the 6300 ip junglers.
Mundo>Shyvana; Both of them have more or less equally fast clear speeds and are both really good at counterjungling. What makes Mundo>Shyvana is the fact that Mundo isn't red buff reliant when it comes to ganks and he actually has a good ranged poke. In SV's words, Mundo does everything Shyvana does and more. Rammus is definitely top tier jungler cause powerball ganks are ridiculous. Not so sure about Nocturne. He's good, but the other junglers are just better.
Noc is really strong jungler, people underestimate him a lot. His clears are very fast, good sustain, and a decent duelist thx to his shield. But what makes Noc incredible is his level 6 gank that can completely ignore wards.

I like Udyr, Olaf and Mundo a lot. They have good clear speed and good ganks, plus they are not very expensive so you can afford the right runes. Also check out Shaco, hes normally banned in solo Q but if not you can first pick him its awesome.
I have a problem in solo queue. I'll be bot as an AD with Leona or something, and she dives in with 1/2 health into their carry. I know she's absolutely dead and should not have done that, and we're almost certainly not going to win the fight, but I commit anyway because she'll get angry at me if I don't. There are a lot of decisions made which I KNOW are horrible ideas, but I commit to it anyway because a. Everyone else is committing and I might as well try to salvage something out of it b. It'll provoke rage at me if I don't and possibly self-destruct the team. I feel forced into stupidity. Can anyone relate?

Yes, it happens all the time as a support player. In my experience, people are gonna rage at something regardless so you're better off just doing the smart thing.
Gradually seeing more and more morganas after she went through a period of not being that popular. Still not seeing her banned as much as she used to but people are playing her more. Afaik people used to max her W but I'm noticing how her Q can hit like a truck in the laning phase. Are people now treating Morg's W like Mao's E where you only get 2 levels of it then max Q?

When playing AD i just type "we play safe, if i get much farm i win, no need to risk for kills", works quite often

Stuff like this happen every day, but it's way worse if it's the other way around. I went to help our jungler at red (I was Soraka), and our carry gave FB by facecheking into the opponents carry+support. " /all OMG REPORT SORAKA NOOB SHE DOES NOTHING LOL NOOB!!!!!" And, the most depressing part is yet to come. The jungler starts yelling "SORAKA GO AWAY!!!! I DON'T NEED HELP!!!"
You can't really do anything but play the game and ignore them.
Janna Eye of the Storm Attack Damage bonus is now lost if the shield breaks
This is really significant. It's a huge nerf on Janna because that shield gets broken really easily.
It's weaker, but that shield doesn't get broken that often in lane. Therefore, Janna is still going to be super dominant in lane and this doesn't change her ridiculous ability to disengage and allow her entire team to disengage. I still think that Janna will continue to be the best support hero, with the exception of maybe Lulu, but I'm not really sure how well she will perform.
