None of us have ever gotten shitty teammates throwing games in our placement matches and had to fight our way out of it. Just play more games and it will equal out eventually and you will end up where you belong. The number by your name means nothing to any of us, or anyone in your real life and isn't even the thing you need to worry about most in this game. Good luck. i havent played 50 games also wy would i not aim to play with pros i want to be as good as i can be

As of now, unless I am convinced otherwise, the only time I would ever consider playing him is if it was a random normal. There are so many better champions than him imho (corki, graves, ashe, trist etc...). Idk maybe I, and many people, have yet to figure it out...

The 800 elo gap between their skill levels. And all of the cussing Destiny does. That's funny too.

Not a competitive team, just a single competitive team player who was drunk lol.

I've never looked at Riven and said "Damn, you know what I need? I need to have more attack speed! and... and... I need to do 4% magic damage even though it is uncosteffective and cheaper items give me more damage regardless of my passive and are like twice as good with my Passive! YEAH!"

Sivir: Sivir trades very well against varus after level 4, if you can spellshield the arrow rain and dodge the Q, you will outright crush varus in trades. As with most lanes, sivir's 500 range means that you have to trade efficiently and know when to gtfo. After you auto,q,auto,w,auto, the passive magic damage from varus's blight makes continuing the trade unfavourable unless you can kill him. Use the 50ms bonus you have to run. Skill dependent matchup but I like sivir's laning against varus. Caitlyn: Varus has a little better of a poke in his Q than caitlyn does. If you time it correctly, you can e,q into varus and then immediately move to the side. If he fires a q immediately, it goes short, if he charges it, you dodge it a good portion of the time and get a good amount of damage in. Auto-attackwise though, the on-hit damage + blight procs makes taking anything much more than a single free shot an unfavourable trade. Varus will do more damage than caitlyn and has a bit more utility throughout midgame since his ultimate is quite a bit stronger on the utility side. Caitlyn can bully varus in this lane but varus does pretty well. Kog'maw: Kogmaw crushes varus stupidly hard from level 6 onwards. If he throws arrows on you, ooze in return, ulti on top of him to punish him if he charges his Q and then activate W and melt him. Varus has 0 escapes so he either eats a huge amount of damage, attempts to trade by walking through a slow that's almost as strong if not stronger than his own at that point in the game (not sure on skilling orders for varus) or flashes. Without a support that can either cc/zone kog away, varus will lose half his health in an instant.. Kog has better poke with his ulti, far, far more damage with W up that doesn't rely on hitting abilities and much greater range. Even from level 4 onwards, the lane's already swinging in favour of kog, I don't see how varus is supposed to win this matchup.

Earlygame its farm farm farm, after you hit 6ish you can just punish him with your range or just straight up kill the guy. Varus lacks an escape and cant simply escape your slow so he can either trade (E+R finish) or die tryng to run away.

This may come as surprise to you and possibly shock you, but some people like to play non-optimal builds that are different because they consider it fun. I absolutely hated Hecarim patch b/c people didn't know how to use his E and just ruined ganks every time they tried one. Lulu was okay. No I mean, they're actually dumb, like recalling at all the wrong places and not understanding they dont need mana to right click.

Also, not every champ 'gets played bad' upon release. Lots do, sure. But Vaynes were wrecking people's faces on day 1. So were Ahris. So were Xin Zhaos. Just because a champ doesn't do well in the first week or so doesn't mean they're bad but it's at least a good indication that they usually aren't OP. I just dunno how well I like Varus' lane phase. Other than that I think he's pretty solid.
