Saint is a top jungler. Trying to argue Crumbz vs saint is.....very debateable. They're different in a lot of ways so I'd avoid that. :D But saint is a lot more of a shot caller and that's what crs needs imo. From the recent scrims it shows they're willing to listen to their shot caller and they want to improve, and that's important for a team as a whole. Only time will show if they really become a better team or if they remain 2nd tier. It all depends on the players improving atm because pobelter is out of practice (and his replacement sydtko is.....tom), and elementz is well......elementz. He wants to improve though so that's good l0l.
CLG on the other hand...... :D well, lets hope george of the jungle makes better friends with that big mean lizard elder. l0l

also elementz gets a lot of hate, but i'll give curse the props for trying new things that other top teams are unwilling to try. that kayle bot lane a couple weeks (months?) ago was pretty ballsy. it didn't play out but they are willing to push the envelope and i like that. i mean shit, they're even willing to handicap themselves with sydtko so obviously they have tehb4llz

mm I think you're overrating SV, best player in the game? I see him occasionally making really questionable calls/plays even though he says Doublelift has the worse decision making ever. I can agree he is very versatile, jungling with practically every champion in soloQ but in tournament games he falls back onto Shyvana, Dr. Mundo, Maokai, Udyr, Nocturne

i don't see why, in a competitive game where the kill count at 30 minutes might be 3-2 or even 0-0, you'd ever pick a jungle that isn't an insane farmer. shyv/mundo/skarner are the only 3 jungles i EVER play in ranked 5s. you can't rely on ganks against good players, must absolutely farm your way to relevance lategame. SV understands that this is the case in the newest jungle

And thats why you're TL resident skarner, shyvana, WW expert

You have to remember though that pros are far better at snowballing their lane after a gank than solo-queue. The score might be 1-0 but that 1-0 could also mean a totally dominant top lane for 20 minutes.

yeah but the pros are also a lot better at ensuring that 1-0 doesn't happen. you can usually count on one hand how many successful 2v1 ganks there are in competitive tournaments***. no one wants to be that guy that loses the game for their team by going 0-1 and having the enemy top lane snowball out of control, so everyone buys a billion d-shields and wards and HoGs and just uses their skills to push the lane then cower in terror at their tower. even when a lane does get ahead, the jungler is gonna be farming most of the time, and clearing wards with their totally safe oracles the rest of the time. you just don't see stuff like jungle teleport ganks or super risky dives at higher levels of play. and in "safe" play you definitely want mundo/shyv/someone who can clear every camp in a couple seconds, build their warmogs/wits/mallet/whatever and contribute in teamfights, RATHER than a jarvan/pantheon/malphite that's gonna try to gank every 20 seconds and not scale well late, na'mean?
***hyper-aggro voyboy and m5 excluded, because fuck that, those guys want kills
wtffff i just build deathcap in a solo queue ranked game as shyvana and won. OP ult?

To anyone who has tried darius on PBE - 1) is he fun to play? 2) is his jungle clear speed decent?

1) He's not a boring champion. Whether you find him fun is more personal.
2) Yes, it's at worst passable and seems pretty fast to me.
You know who I haven't seen in ages? Skarner.

Although, hey maybe eventually they'll phase out DL for an good chill AD carry so only chauster and hotshot remain as non-chill, CLG might actually not be as ragey l0l.
But from crc scrims, people seem to be listening to saint and not arguing, although there are a lot of mistakes going on here and there. It actually looks pretty legit team synergy. A team that listens to the leader and doesn't argue, admits mistakes, even if playing bad not raging, to me that's a good team that just needs some practice to become top. Yeah, it seems so peaceful. Saint says something they all just like "Hey, yeah, thats legit." and just do it. They dont spend two hours arguing.
Problem is that saint, Hotshot, and Chauster are all big personalities. They all have their opinions and none of them are going to back down. Curse on the other hand is afaik a bunch of chill dudes. Elementz for all his faults is a pretty passive 'cool' guy. So are Nyjacky and Pobelter. I would assume Cop is but I dunno enough about him to say for sure.
While I think CLG is much weaker without saint I don't think it's surprising, really hard to have a team with a lot of synergy when you have three people who can never admit they're wrong lol.
Imo, Dignitas pretty boned unless Crumbzz steps up. Hotshot should resign to a management position, he'd almost certainly still get tons of money from streaming and could focus on growing CLG into his retirement plan even more. CLG could pick up a real jungler and then just let Chauster make shot calls. DL not gonna argue with Chauster, Voyboy and jiji not gonna rage at anyone, CLG would be a pretty set team right now without Hotshot imo. I think Curse will just end up being stronger than ever although if someone on their team starts arguing with saint it'll be exactly like CLG vent.
|
I don't think anyone on Curse really has the personality or ability to argue with Saint, lol.
Like he just joined their team and he's pretty much calling every shot already. It SEEMS like he's the captain.

waiting/praying for a voyboy switch to crs after realizing he doesn't mesh with clg. would be one hell of a team...

Is Crumbzz not good? Any time I ever watch him stream he dominates kids

Crumbzz is incredibly good.

With all these current changes I don't even know who Curse's current AD or Mid player is anymore... and who is TSM b team and CLG b team and oh dear oh my so many new things.
We really need a thread with all the proteams and the players on them.
