As a consequence, the old CJ Entus squad's contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
sad....

Sorry, need to clarify. The old members will remain as substitute players up until the fall season, where then rosters will be formalized. Each former player will have their chance to prove themselves to onair.

mvp should pickup the old cj squad if cj is dropping them, they are looking for new players, otherwise I hope the cj guys find a new home quick

Glad to see blaze and frost picked up so quickly, they sure are fun to watch. And by CJ... Watch out world. I :D

I really like that font for Frost/Blaze. And yeah, they were literally free agents for less than 24 hours lol.
|
I like the old CJ team and hope that they can get a new team after the fall if CJ doesn't make them a full team. I'd love to see them go with Incredible Miracle or with a Kespa team like Woongjin, but that's just me

Will CJ Blaze & Frost be attending MLG Winter?
If you guys didn't know they are having a MLG Winter season for league, it's on the MLG website.

They have to do a ton of paper work to confirm everything and they can still do roster changes to the teams if they wanted to which I hope doesn't happen because both teams are extremely strong but Blaze is still getting used to the changes and that's the main reason they fell short in the OGN semi-finals.

I like the old CJ =\
Damn it. I wish Samsung could pick up Blaze and Frost... it seemed like the perfect opportunity for them to enter, tbh.

I mean the time between the Winter series and Summer series is the perfect time to get all of that done. Blaze also lost because KT Rolster B is really good haha.

MVP's testing a lot of people, in fact of lot of non-famous Koreans are better than CJ's old roster. There was a lot of problems also internally with CJ's old squad.

I really hope InSec and Space can find a home somewhere as starters. Dade is pretty decent too, We've probly seen the last of Longpanda lol.

Surely his dad is not as rich as CJ Corporation? hue

how can the father have an investment, they just got contracted by a completely different company than before -.-

I actually think maybe a different team will pick them up.

Was hoping Samsung or another team would pick them up, more teams the better. Still CJ is a proven team, so not much of a change. Will be interesting to see if they make any changes from the old CJ squad.

lots of drama in the korean scene due to cj completely disrespecting their old team..
wonder what happens. i know blaze and frost will want to stick to their squad because of their team work and synergy.

really? i find that suprising because frost members have consistently defended woong on his role in the team. they acknowledge that individually he isn't the best adc, but what he brings to the team in-terms of team synergy and play-calling greatly make up for his lack of individual skill as adc. frost is mainly a team that wins off their team presence, team fight and strategy
|
I wonder what the pick-up costed. Anybody know if theres a number floating around on the webz on "average to good"-teams and world-star/s-class teams?
Anyway, good luck in their new home. If Samsung had picked them up, it would have been fantastic - but CJ aint that bad

wow, at first i hope SKT T1 can get rid of the old roster which even lose to AG, the team cannot even qualify for LCS China. I really want to see shy, rapidstar, Insec, Cpt Jack, Madlife to merge a team btw. OGN plz make an invitational tournament that Najin Sword, WE, TPA, GBG,participate!!!

Yeah, SKT1 doesn't need a whole new roster, they need a midlaner that can perform consistently. I don't even feel like their other non-reapered members are bad, they could be like Najin Maksword and set themselves up to get carried by top lane if they built their team with this in mind.

Well, Sword doesn't get carried by Maknoon any more, the finals proved that pretty handily. They started out as the Maknoon-support team, but by now, they have legitimately A/S-tier players on every position. (Anyone remember the S2 qualifier where Locodoco would trashtalk the Sword lineup for being noobs and then had to eat his words after they made it?) SKT T1 could probably get to the same point if they train diligently.
However, if they want to go for more short-term success: Imagine SKT T1 picked up the former CJ roster completely - replace Longpanda with Reapered and your lineup is very good. Sucks for H0R0, but he's really not impressed me the last games I've seen him.

This news is good for the frost/blaze teams as they are probably being paid a lot of money from their new organization. They are retaining ALL of their current members which is amazing to think about.
This news is sad because the current CJ players, specifically insec, will probably have to try to find a new place to be. If that doesn't happen, then pretty much it comes down to insec being missed in the scene. This guy was really impressive the few times I've seen him play, and I'd rather see him continue his progress in LoL.

I feel worse for dade than inSec. inSec gets a ton of hype but I still think he's rather unrefined. dade on the other hand is more well rounded.

Good pickup, I was cheering for Frost to win those winter finals, hopefully they can make it to a what is it now, 4th in a row? Good luck to them with their new sponsor.

Woong is a very important part of Frost

There is no way that will happen. SKT T1 is built by Reapered. I don't see any reason whatsoever for him to jump the ship. SKT, imo, is a better sponsor than CJ anyway.

Perhaps, but I think everyone here will agree that Frost will be hands down the best team in the world if they had any other pro-level ADC player instead of woong.

I don't think Woong's performances are particularly good, but it's been mentioned several times that he's the captain/shot caller for Frost. How much of their clinical teamwork is his influence? I don't think anyone outside the team is really able to say.
