In week 1, Jayce was banned in 4 of the games CLG played (all by purple side). It was open in CLG vs Curse, which Nien played pretty well with but I don't remember it being "ban Jayce vs CLG or lose".
It's possible that C9 didn't know what Nien actually plays. That guy's champion pool expands every week.
But also, CLG crushed Dyrus's Jayce pretty hard (and we all know he has a pretty good Jayce). We can reasonably assume that they had a plan for giving up Jayce to blue side both games, but then C9 didn't pick him.
We can also safely assume CLG is not getting Jayce again while 3.8 is used.

Big important news OGN is looking for a second Buffgirl What's a buffgirl or I guess what's her role? looking pretty and doing interviews Is there a particular significance in OGN hiring another buffgirl or were you just being sarcastic? I honestly couldn't tell

Were the stargirls doing interviews in BW? I have no recollection of it.

Why has MF went off the radar so hard ? She's still the best AD when it comes to AoE compositions, and most teams tend to go back to that those days.
I don't really get it :/

I imagine that a lack of any form of escape makes it difficult to justify playing her when there are so many popular junglers with long range hard engage?
Idk though. Didn't she get some nerfs recently?

Good laning, but no real escape or steroids. Not that much AD scaling compared to a lot of other popular champs as well, and having a channeled ult on your AD is kinda meh unless you're ahead cuz you could be hitting dem 1k dmg crits twice per second otherwise.
Also, nerfing Taric who was one of her best lane buddies probably hurt a bit.

I don't really get it :/ Assassins like Zed/Kha=dead MF when she tries to channel, I would assume (lack of escapes once they get to MF is a problem, because of passive cancel)
EDIT: Also, people have been playing alot more Cait and Draven, whom generally go even/do well vs MF, so her early game isn't quite that oppressive.

Don't think so. At least not official ones for OGN/MBC

I actually like Varus more than MF in an AoE comp. I think his ult is worth more than MF's ult since in a true AoE comp you don't really need a shit ton of AoE damage from your ADC but if you have yet another AoE CC... of course this all assume Varus can hit his ult but as long as he isn't the initiation it should be pretty simple.
With Varus you can AoE snare the entire enemy team in an AoE comp, add extra AoE damage with your Q/E if you choose, and/or auto attack down high priority targets. MF just ults and hopes her team can hold people in the AoE long enough while also hoping no one gets around to ruin her channel.
There are probably AoE comps where MF > Varus but I think Varus is more reliable in an AoE team comp.

Well yeah if you use it randomly, but if you position well you should be in a position where you're not interruptible and can DPS their whole team :/ Assassins are annoying but just as much as with other popular ADs like Varus, Cait, and Draven.
Her W nerf really did hurt her early laning though, and you can't outright win all trades by autoing now.

All 3 of which have some form of CC or escape to kind of deal with people diving on them. MF really doesnt (I mean, there is Make it Rain, but that's not very good for your own survival, tbh)

Man I just picked Blitzcrank while we already had Taric in our team, wasn't paying attention much since I'm used to last pick having to support anyway so I'm gonna have to jungle Blitz now xD

His ganks are really good if you land hook.
His jungle clear is bad though. So gank a lot.

Lack of escape is not the case with MF's decline in popularity. Her biggest selling point is the AOE AD damage. Teams right now aren't utilizing that in team comps because of the strength of other things like AD casters, magic AOE damage, etc that require the ADC to fullfill another role like the AOE cc and wave clear on Varus. I think she's good, but teams will need to find a way to fit her with other strong and OP champions. Lissandra and MF could be a sick combo.

MF Quinn is a fun combo.
MF buys BC, her ult stacks it up on everybody and gets them low, Quinn buys LW and flies into the ult and executes them all.

If enemy team picks an AP mid laner early on you can run Galio mid and Malphite top (or just run w/e and put Galio mid or top). Galio ult plus MF ult is pretty sick. The problem is that no one plays Galio anymore and if the enemy team picks an AD mid Galio's usefulness kind of plummets. Although I feel like I could probably outlane a Zed or Kha'Zix on Galio, maybe Jayce idk, but it would kind of strip the advantage of "build MR still do damage" since you'd probably end up rushing Zhonya's instead of Abyssal.
Galio has your wave clear and AoE magic damage covered. And he functions as an off-tank too.

Listening to Alex Ich stream, music sounds super familiar, can't quite put my finger on it, realize after about a minute it's a string quartet version of Fall Out Boy's Dance Dance, realized I listened to Fall Out Boy in middle school, realize I'm getting far too old. Thanks Alex.

This isn't actually that big of a deal, and people far overstate how much Galio's play should be centered around this. The fact that you get AP from MR isn't the relevant point here, but the fact that it's quite hard for a melee to dive through Galio because Idol of Durand is one of the best counter-initiating skills in the game (directly comparable in function to Enigma's Black Hole in DotA). This coupled with the fact that Bulwark is an extremely good counter-burst skill against all types of damage.
More relevant is how dependent Galio is on his Flash CD which is overly prohibitively in a fast-paced game.

On a more serious note, I find it interesting how early Alex buys Homeguard enchants in almost all situations. He's been doing this in the LCS as well. There are a lot of instance where he is able to back more frequently and get a lot of CS he would have missed out on if he didn't have Homeguard.
