You can go 21/0/9 and start with dorans ring + ward + biscuit, or 21/9/0 and start ring+2pots. No clue which is better because I don't play Annie but she seems pretty tough. Soniv should teach us how to Tibbers.
I used to stream Annie all the time! Not my fault no one watched. Once I start playing again, I'll look into streaming capabilities now that I'm in my new apartment (I have Comcast now, so yeah...)
I go 21/9/0 now, and I probably will leave my rune page the same (Mpen/Armor/MR/AP), but I'll definitely be experimenting with DRing+Pots opening. But I really do love starting boots on her, and I think a lot of my success does stem from that extra move speed (despite the S3 boots nerf).

When saint goes, ugh I don't even want to think about it. He's my favorite player, sure he's not perfect but he's the guy I learned to jungle from and how to start thinking about how to play based on the situation and not some silly guide. Stop making me feel sad damn it!

This.
She not only plays completely differently from every other mage, but she plays completely differently than old Karma did.
You have to be a smart player in team fights. It's not just about blowing your load on the squishiest target. You need to figure out where your mantra priorities need to lie (usually Mantra E for team fights) while dishing out damage and protecting your team at the same time.

Based on a guide I saw I've been trying a roaming-heavy style with mspd quints, 9/0/21 for additional movespeed, and opening with early mobo boots + alacrity. It leaves you with 476 move speed.
You sacrifice killing/trading power in lane, but annie's ganks with ultimate up are a guaranteed kill if they don't escape in time. If they're overextended, your move speed alone is usually enough to force a flash even if they see you coming with a ward. It's pretty fun and quite effective at getting your other lanes to snowball.
Also, if you're behind in lane, an early spectral wraith on Annie gives her free sustain, since you'll spellvamp off last-hits with Q while still getting the mana refund. Works great if you're having trouble staying in lane due to ranged harass and a heavy pusher.
As for Kha, I'm worried that he'll be too much of an abusive top laner now. His Q was already really strong for trades before the buff; if people start evolving it first, I have a hard time seeing how you'd avoid dying to it if your lane ever pushes.

His W still has the same retarded range and does decent poke, but not as absurd as before. The lack of E+W does seem to gimp his playstyle a little bit, but I'm definitely ok with that.
The Kha'zix changes seem more like a QOL change or even a buff, yes his W does slightly less damage (although a slight increase in scaling and the fact it consistently does the damage without needing to break LOS, mean it's as big a nerf as I thought it would be), the Q evolution is just so much more powerful (still has a similar isolation bonus for assassination, but the 8% missing health when not is a big teamfight buff).
The change does seem to have opened up a choice on which evolution to go for first, if you're laning/pushing then stick with W first, if you're roaming/ganking go for Q. The evolution that seems to be suffering now is R, while the 50% dmg reduction on it is nice it just doesn't seem as good as the others anymore.

I didn't watch your stream because you never played Quinn!
Which, btw, starting boots+4 pots or boots+ward+2pots is going to be awesome on Quinn. Also prob Annie.

nothing can top the Ziggs spotlight where they literally have him hitting ~lvl10s with 700ap had people thinking his ult did 3/4 of someones life.

My shitty Silver 5 observations have been that my support instincts (being that's what I mostly play) are very valuable while playing Karma. If you're being useful and dealing consistent-ish damage, you're winning. With the huge shield and Lulu-esque poke, if you can be a hidden threat while protecting your teammates over a long battle.

The new built-in slow on W pre-6 means you can't run away without taking autos and Q's to your back, too.

Mantra E is so stupid. The utility is absolutely off the charts but I think the issue may lie with the fact that she can't really replace a lot of the more popular mages in mid these days in terms of damage and threat level to other lanes?
+ Show Spoiler +This coming from a guy who hasn't followed the scene in 2 months. Don't listen to me.

Also, is a buff to Jungle Kha'zix, having an early slow not linked to your auto attack will make ganking easier.

This was mentioned in the last patch thread. I'm sure it works, but personally, I'm not willing to sacrifice the lane killing power. The move speed is nice, but ultimately, it's very gimmicky. If you fail your super fast ganks, you're incredibly far behind.
If you know what you're doing, an Annie gank is almost always successful anyway. Why would I give up power for a crutch?

Not only huge shield, but it's a massive speed boost, and when it's mantrad, it's better than locket+shurelia. It's an absurdly cost effective move. But you need to stay alive to use it. So yeah, later in the game, I take on a support mage mentality (even more so than someone like Ori or Zyra)

Saint would probably make a decent coach considering you don't argue with big daddy saint. What would be hilarious is if Saint coached one team and Elementz coached another team and they both ended up as part of a single organization (probably crs). Imagine all the fan art that would come from that. It would be like a brady bunch. Hotshot could be Alice.
Here's a story. Of a man named Brandon. lolol

I've never played as or laned against Karma. What if you put her top lane?

Sent a PM to Neo 5 days ago and didn't get a reply, so I guess I'll make it an open letter thingy.

assuming that it's a pretty even game in the mid-game, if you're not AoE comboing, you're getting a very quick pick off. the days of your typical frontline vs frontline, diving the backline, etc. are long gone.
any time that my friends and i have attempted to play karma, she just doesn't offer enough in those deciding moments of the fight.
i'll probably give her a try playing her top again, though. it took me a while to make lissy work there, where i think she has much better matchups than she does mid.

Unaired CLG doc is definitely better than aired one.
too much insight about CLG.

Reading only for people under diamond? Sounds good, used to love old AJ and it would give me some motivation to actually hit diamond sometime soon
