Only cos you're not in it! =p I just thought Diamond was the easiest and most straightforward cut-off point that should increase quality of posting without making it a total dead-zone. Besides, some of the best Korean players are still in Diamond, it's the MMR that counts (; PS: I wish I didn't have to use AJ as an example (REAL SHITPOSTING) but yeah...

Also with LoL, how many Diamond+ players are really on this forum? 15-20? How many are Diamond+ AND post on a very regular basis? 5? How many are Diamond+, post on a regular basis AND are willing to spend months talking to the same people over and over? 1-2?

1) The idea of a "bigpro" subforum has been thrown around since the SC days. Where the little guys could read (but not interrupt) the bigpros discussing strategy. But in the end TLHQ thought this would set a poor precedence and veto'd the idea. 2) This idea revolves about TL LoL getting another subforum and/or additional coding to make certain accounts special and block the rest. We aren't fully backed by TLHQ as a mainstay game, so again, this won't fly.

This was also proposed earlier to be implemented in the same way that SC2 strategy does it: have diamond+ players have blue posts. Didn't go through, my guess is for the same reasons as the reasons stated above

Counting EUW and NA we're a pretty big bunch of diamonds around here.

1. It stops the higher players from making any discussion with the lower ones. If I'm diamond+ why should I even visit the non diamond+ subforum? It's just a bunch of inferior players that won't give me the respect I deserve. So when Best_Wood_EU has a question, for diamonds, he's going to have to hope they discuss it themselves because they are less likely to visit his forum. 2. It creates a sense of less serious discussion in the other forum. We can troll here all we want, here's my AD Heimer guide. If you want serious discussion go to the diamond forum. If Diamond is heavily moderated serious discussion the contrast is trolly nonsensical discussion. While it wouldn't degrade the forum immediately the separation would slowly become apparent. Instead why not just encourage this forum to have respectful discussion regardless of division. (Which it is actually pretty good at, and offenders are easily noticed and called out on it.)

Well consider Arena Junkies - if someone was a gladiator it didn't mean he's good or knows what he's talking about. It's just assumed the conversation will be less retarded than a forum that's open to everyone (read: official forums). That kind of stance towards posting has been discouraged on TL. There was no TL-like environment for WoW, so something like AJ was actually nice to have to avoid the general discussion boards. But with TL it's not really needed.

Well, the Diamond players on TL generally have an idea what they're doing (I know, I know, I'm the exception). This argument doesn't matter at all though because Neo has already said it won't happen.

Well no I am not talking about tl lol.I am talking in general.Personally until I play with someone and see how they play I don't assume anything.Like I've seen people who play well in plat 3 I've seen people who are garbage in diamond 1. Winning in solo que and being good are 2 different things. If you are good generally you will get high but being high doesn't mean that you are good.

The proposition was a TL sub group. I don't know why you're arguing about the skill level of the general public. We all know that 99% of the players who are not Challenger are relatively trash (including myself and many of us).
