So my desire for a cube to draft has led me to this. I own a large amount of Rath/Urza block and a decent amount of Masques (and man is that power drop). So for nostalgia's sake and practicality I limited my cube to those 3 blocks, it's got some nice flavor continuity and as I said nostalgia. I also didn't include any money rares that I'd rather sell. http://www.cubetutor.com/viewcube/20127 First cube, I didn't have clear goals with archetypes just picked things that didn't look terrible but interesting. Might need some more solid vanilla, I may have missed some obvious things. Be gentle, I'm very open to suggestions Edit: also it's my first draft, obv numbers of colors etc. need to be tweaked.

Rebirth on sale currently. If Skullgirls is too then you guys should still pick it up...matches between me and soniv are closer now and he can beat me a little more consistently.

I signed up for a tournament in a few months and so I have to focus on getting an army filled out and painted. Both my Daemons and Necrons have the ability to be tournament-level lists, but both will require some extra purchases. Both have a couple different ways I can load them out, so even once I decide on which army I want to bring, I'll have to get an idea of how I want to run them (Necrons can go vehicle heavy, Sentry Pylons, Flyer spam - Daemons can go summoning, Grimoire shenanigans, or Invisible deathballs) and then buy the requisite models to do so.
I also can consider utilizing my Imperial Knight as an ally to either list. It might do well in a Necron Vehicle list, since very few armies will bring enough anti-tank to deal with 3 Necron vehicles, a Knight, and whatever other fun things I put out (Tesseract Vault, Double CCB, Night Scythe spam).
I think I'm leaning towards my Necrons right now, but I'll have a lot of work ahead of me if I do from a painting standpoint, especially since I have the second hand stuff I bought that I need to paint over (I really hope I can paint over it instead of having to strip it). And then there's the fact that a new Necron codex is supposedly coming next month or January, which could potentially change the way the army plays altogether.
I think for now the safest bet is to assemble/paint what I have and wait to see what happens with the codex and general meta in the next couple months. I'll be scratch building some Sentry Pylons and will be hoping to get some other Forgeworld stuff for the Holidays (which won't change with the codex, and also are awesome). If the Necron codex changes things too much or the competitive landscape changes, I can always scramble together a Daemon list.

You should have picked big band in that case because I destroy you and I barely know what I'm doing.
What makes her easy exactly, or easier than anyone else?

I don't know, I think her combos feel fairly natural. And hitting different types of attacks (low/norm/overhead) is very simple on her with the inherent diversity of her kit. I feel like I need to do a bit more finagling as Parasoul to get the same type of variety. I could also just be imagining it.
I also don't have Big Band.

You say "moveset" in fighters. Isn't the last necron codex less than a year ago?
|
Three years ago since the last one, it was one of the last before 6th edition 40k came out. It's going to be the last to get a 7th edition update (unless Sisters of Battle get an actual Codex and update of their own, kekeke)

Edit: Also, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that a Holiday Steam Sale just began...
Some interesting games are on sale(Goat mmo simulator seems like a weird good funky game), but I wouldn't really play them. I do recommend cs:go though since it's pretty fun.

DH winter is also happening tomorrow, but the CSGO scene has been having issues lately with players being VAC'd Epsilon and one other team that escapes me won't be attending since one or their player's was VAc banned recently for cheating.
Kinda curious how it'll go honestly, and it gives me an excuse to watch CSGO since it is still a major and those are the only tournaments I watch, also Friberg will be casting, it'll be interesting to hear a pro player's thoughts ^^
On the topic of the sale, I might pick up Lords of the Fallen, how is it? Anyone played it at all?

Yea the cheating issue that's come out recently for csgo is fairly interesting. I want to see how these players/teams do during dreamhack. It will be interesting to see if anything else will come from Valve about it. The other thing I'm paying attention to is how Dreamhack/other tournament organizers deal with the cheat. It's really not an easy thing to detect.

That player cursor movement. Some real weird things happening with flusha for a lot of the above(especially jerky/non smooth cursor movement). olof seems suspicious, but not as bad as what flusha does in some of these things.

So about teh CS:GO pro scene with the cheating scandels, has this happened on LAN? or just online tourneys?
