Well apparently if there's anyone that can bring viewers to Azubu it's Faker.

While not huge definitely helped him. it's not, in fact a lot of Rammus specialists put a 2nd point in Q before maxing E, because it's something stupid like a 100% damage increase, at rank 2 it does pretty nice damage.

Isn't it a second point in W instead? Q only gains 50 damage and 5% slow per level; I mean, it's big, but it starts at 100 base damage anyway (which is friggin huge, 80 is considered fairly high even for a single-target ability) and E gains so much more (less since they butchered it with a 25% duration decrease at level 5 though x_x), both in duration and flat armour reduction which works better early. DBC doesn't get much either, granted (numbers-wise it's a 50% increase from level 1 to level 2, like powerball's damage), but if you're frontlining a defensive steroid is always important, and at least its mana cost doesn't shoot up like Powerball's does.

I never kept up with that. But I don't think I've ever seen any Azubu stream even close to 40k viewers, if he was on Twitch he'd probably suck the viewership out of everyone like a Riot stream.

Azubu is terrible for pros. Voyboy was one of the higher Twitch streamers and I've never seen him break 10K on Azubu.

I'm going off some really old information (Dan Dihn when he was a pro used to heavily advocate this build) but to be honest it makes sense to me at lvl 3-4 range, 50 damage is going to help secure ganks a lot more than your other options. probly the best person to ask at this point would be Harryabs but he isn't on my fl so rip

I don't feel much of that, but we don't know how his viewership would have been had he streamed on the peak of SKT during Worlds/OGN Winter. I'd say he probably took a slight hit, maybe in the sense that he's not the one and only god of League and people now acknowledge other players like Pawn and Dade aswell.

Yeah, he established himself as a "household name" in Season 3 so he's still insanely popular in the West. Also he's still really good.
