Hey guys so in this thread you can give me feedback on what you think of the video. suggestions, ideas, criticism.
EDIT 2 Thanks For all the help guys this is my completed video below I also posted it on reddit would love some TL support! Thanks again guys for the great feedback.
Some idea's I had for what I would adding to the video in the way of edits. Is transitions where i have the lol character that will be featured in the next clip as the transition As opposed to like a fade out. I am gonna but an Audio NOPE and subtext in the clip as gnar where i failed to jump over the wall.
In the swain clip where i dodged zed q. I was thinking of subtext where i would say like "I know zed's Q will be up in 3 , 2 , 1 DODGE!" or something similar.
The clip with VE in the background talking I am thinking of putting subtitles on so we can see what he says better.
Also Not sure if i should put anything on the clip where i push ahri and nautalis with ult. What do yall think?
Looking forward to your guys suggestions thanks :D
EDIT I chew my tounge when im concentrating. I never really noticed that I did it before watching it in action lol. I know i look ridiculous. Not sure if I wanna edit it out or wut.

Why didn't you like the music? I like the wonky funky music. Is it just difference in taste? What would you recommend?

Well this type of music is used in league when there is something funny happening and the video isn't really that style. It's not bad or anything just don't think it suits the type of video well.Don't have good recommendations I'm not a good video maker just saying what I think as a viewer :D.

It felt very off for the kind of plays being made.
Like in one of those funny fail videos, or kshaway "very serious ad malz" videos, it would feel appropriate.
The music helps set the mood of the viewer, and funny/derpy music like that makes you expect something to laugh at, so it just feels awkward when nothing especially "funny" happens~
If it's meant to be a funny video with amusing plays, then you should try and edit it a bit/add jokes in. Otherwise if it's meant to be a highlight reel of plays (which i assume it is) then the music should try and reinforce the epicness/intensity of the plays.
It's a bit like putting benny hill music to the big battle in the last hobbit movie, except less funny :p
Hm Ok I'll have to find new music then. I do have some more funny stuff. That I edited out to put in a different league of legends blooper style video. I'll probably use the music in that then.
What do you guys think of the title. I want something that grabs people and this is the best i could think of. Anyone have a better idea?
I won't comment on the music as everyone else has said their piece and I think for the most part I agree with them.
I liked the video, but I think the part where you were Azir and you had the facecam going on was the weakest section of the video. The reason why I say this is because I thought the commentary coming from you only served to weaken the montage. The reason why I think this is because when you have no commentary, then the montage can speak for itself. I recall for the Azir clip that I was being distracted by your commentary and was less focused on the actual play itself.
Of course this is only an opinion, and I might be the only person who thinks this way. Regardless, I hope the feedback was useful.

Hm that makes sense. Ill consider editing the commentary out. Does anyone else feel this way?
My comment is that essentially the video doesn't have a coherent theme and that it is, more or less, just a collection of clips without much unifying purpose.
Are we watching sweet Akali plays? Are we watching the enemy fail? Because there isn't a clear vision for this viewers don't know what to look for in order to have an emotional reaction. What should have come out of that with was something like "wow look at those sick Akali dash dodges" but what I got out of it was "ok so this guy plays mid and top sometimes".
A really good example can be seen in most of SIV's video's. Take the hungry ashe games. We know right away what is going on, what were looking for. When we don't Siv tells us (oh man time for jukes). Because I can see the notes the video is hitting i can react to them and enjoy them.
I would also cut all the bad ratio records as an aesthetic thing. But until you have a theme its far to early to talk about individual edit points/how well you hit that theme.
Edit: A really good example is Siv's "I am AP Ezreal" video. We know its a high energy, fun, AP EZ highlight real right off the bat. We get a title card. We get slowdown for the parts that he wants us to see and speed up for the dead zones. Commentary is separated from the action in a way that shows what you should be looking at and what you should be listening to.
Music is the type of music I'd expect during the NA sequence of an OGN vs NA LCS video.
It's really off-putting, I couldn't last longer than halfway through the second segment (stopped video when Kha jumped on Fizz in mid-lane after the base sequence).

Huh Thanks for example haven't seen that vid from Siv. Yea I see your point. I know i don't have a unifying theme and i won't really be able to remedy it as this is the content i have to work with. But I will try to make the video flow better and get better music.
Video and game play was good. The music seem a little off paced for the video and you should try messing around with speeding up and slowing down editing effects, they suit this type of video well.
Here's a good montage video, clips were all high level. Usually the clips you want to put on are ones that are either epic jukes, or 1v2, 1v3... type clips.
I think what really sells a montage video are the editing bits that come with the plays.
