There is this unit called Raven that has SM and BL are to slow to dodge those. 6 Ravens split in 2 groups ends the BL easily. Mass Cyclone works to if you manually hit the BL and then just run. Being very immobile you could also snipe his bases.

Cyclone can lock-on at 9 range and their fast enough tó dodge fungal. Mass Cyclone with hellions trades very efficient vs anything else.

Exactly. There's only one unit in the game that can't escape SM on it's own - a sieged tank (which can escape with medivac support). If you get close enough to BL they won't be able to escape but then you get countered by fungal...

A broodlord moves at speed 1.4062 which means it can travel a distance of 7.031 in said 5 seconds. That means a Raven would have to move within 13 - 7.031 = 5.969 range to make the missile unavoidable. That number goes up a little to account for human reaction time of course, but it's still pretty low. Thank you Athenau for formulating this in mathematical terms Basically this means the effective inescapeable range is 6 However it is even harder because the zerg can see the ravens move forwards so he can already be running his broodlords back before the seekers are even fired, then if he fungals your ravens they are forfeit even trading them at this point is not possible since their seekers will simply expire.

What is a better design decision: keep both mech and bio viable OR keep one spell overpowered "just because"?

With parasitic that changes of course, but Cyclone/Hellbat shredders Broodlords as much as I have seen on streams like Demuslim's and Stephano's.

Such a shame that with PB we are going to remove mass phoenix into skytoss / Skytoss gateway, it was an amazing style to pull off.
