I thought it would be nice to have a small thread that collects possible bugs and possibly-unintended inconsistencies in the LotV beta.
When posting here keep in mind this is not a thread that is meant to change the balance of units, so stay away from suggestions like "I feel like stalkers should get more damage from each upgrade to make it more powerful.". If you still suggest a change to the stats of a unit give a good reason why the current status might be unintended.
Here is what has been on my mind so far:
- The Cyclone doesn't use its lock-on ability when targetfiring, in contrast to attack moving it. This feels like a punishment for microing to be honest.
- If given while burrowed, lurkers keep their hold fire stance when unburrowing. But the hold fire cannot be deactivated while being unburrowed. It is therefore hard to keep track of what stance the lurker will be in when being burrowed. Suggestion: always deactivate hold fire when unburrowing.
- Fungal Growth and Infested Terran ability have switched places in the Infestor UI for no reason. This messes up grid users for no reason.
- The Zerg Basic Mutation menu has been changed for no reason. This messes up grid users for no reason. Especially since HotS followed a nice row-ordered system (economics-tech-defenses) while in LotV there is no system apparent.
- Liberator vs ground profits from attack upgrades with +8. Usually upgrades are capped at +5 as can be observed on the baneling 80(+5 vs buildings) or the old Tempest with 80+3(+2vs massive) damage.
- Creep seems to be visually messed up around the edges.

The Way you can Check where they spawn with the worker spawn Trick is a bug that should be fixed.

No clan support, having to click Ranked each time after a match ( if you don't click play again) , Chat broken after a game (Unless you click to rejoin General)

I'd like to see the score screen right away after a game finishes instead of the pointless experience screen.

pretty i sure I discovered 2 days ago.. but forgot it already..lol. And oh yeah I've noticed the creep spread animation . that was like some 1990's stuff there lol
Edit: Oh I remembered
1) Score screen sometimes tend to not show and just blank. 2.) always error when clicking a previous match from the Match History

I noticed in a recent game on stream, avilo vs. a zerg, the zerg used abduct on a liberator as it was changing modes and the unit disappeared but was still able to attack. Eventually it died to a spore crawler. He couldnt click on it but I think he saw the green targeting circle.

i noticed if you release carrier interceptors, that the opponent can see your carriers without vision in the fog of war

Is the Adept bug still around? That the Adept Shadows count towards units lost?

I don't know if something was changed with the burrowed Roaches, but from LotV streams it seems that Roaches get the spiky model even before Tunneling Claws is upgraded. Does it happen when Burrow is upgraded (and if so, is it intended?) or is it just a bug?
Also, I'm not sure about this, but I vaguely remember having seen a game where not all of the Roaches got the spiky model, only some of them.

Hitting F3 doesnt bring you to the matchmaking screen.

Probably not intended and just a matter of time. No big deal really. On the other hand, this unranked selection by default is really annoying that's for sure.

When you select a group of rax and press the shortcut to create an addon, one of the rax will lift, then try to land on another one to create the addon, this result in a flying rax without any addon and it is very anoying when you realize 2min latter that you have a flying rax in the middle of the fight (true story)!

Queuing commands with air units around the edge of the map can make them get stuck. Makes long way around medivac drops annoying.

Why do burrowed units go back to being burrowed after they're dropped by Phoenixes? This makes no sense This has actually always bugged me
