naturally, on even-numbered days (julian calendar because "julian" is earlier in the alphabet than "pizza") all units cost 50 additional minerals, on prime-numbered days workers are produced twice as fast, between 3 am and 3 pm all ground units are air units and vice-versa, unless of course if it happens to be friday the 13th in which case all ground units remain ground units but all air units are ground units too, as a natural consequence of this if the day is a square number of an odd-numbered month and it is between midnight and forthnight, all mineral lines are high-yield.
edit: of course I don't need to explain that this will clearly increase depths of spawning pools while breaking the 3-step ladder for novice players still learning mineral splitting.
I fully support the implementation of the Julian calendar into SC2. Also, dates should only be given in indictions (a fifteen-year Byzantine tax cycle and dating system). Also, the time should use the ancient Greek number system. And zealots should have shields.
