With all the talk about removing or simplifying macro mechanics for all races, I noticed there was one direction Blizzard hadn't mentioned different from their options 1 and 2: -Terran: Total Orbital Command energy decreased to 100 or 150 -Zerg: Maximum larvae at hatchery from Spawn Larvae decreased from 19 to 10. -Protoss: (Undecided)
Instead of simplifying the macro mechanic, what if the total reward for maintaining the mechanic was reduced, so that players who couldn't keep up with Spawn Larvae spamming wouldn't feel as heavily punished?

This makes 0 sense. A Terran who forgets to use mules is going to be even more behind when his orbital has been at 100 energy for the last 2 minutes while his opponent, who has been using mules constantly, is ahead. Zerg - this will only hurt the 200/200 remax situation, doesn't do anything to 'improve' macro for the average player.

this must be a troll thread. the idea of reducing the reward for maintaned rewards does have some merit in making the high-skill, high-reward be alittle more high-skill lower-reward, which might help players that can't keep up as well.
but the suggestions doesn't do anything of the sort.
terran suggestion: this doesn't reduce the reward in any way, it only punishes too imperfect play even more, instead of making it high-skill lower-reward it makes it higher-skill high-reward.
zerg suggestion: the only players affected by this is people that are good at maintaining larvae injects when already maxed, players that are weaker mechanically (which this is supposed to help by "lowering the reward" for superior players) barely ever even get to this point to feel the effect of it, and even then hatcheries only rarely have 10 or more larvae even in pro games.

P and T dont need any changes, maybe cut them a bit. Zerg needs a new thing, inject is stupid.
