The reason I propose this is because its a small, niche upgrade that doesn't help terran too much, but adds a layer of depth to the game, aswell as the fact that the reaper is a scouting unit, and this upgrade would help it fill its role later in the game. Perhaps this upgrade can be combined with nitro-packs (75/75 or 100/100) to further endorse this scouting role. The only way I see this being game changing is if its capable of spotting for tanks. It would be useful for terran bio to have vs zerg, as it lets them see when the zerg is engaging earlier, and allows the terran to react faster.

If the reaper vision range is buffed so its not further than the siege tank range, then thats fine. Default unit range: 9 Siege tank sieged range: 13 So if the vision is changed to only be +3, or even +3.5, air-battles would still be important. The reason I say that concussive shells is a niche upgrade with no strategies around it is because its not entirely necessary to win the game, whereas stimpack + combat shield are. You say "Oh, I need to wait 30 more seconds before I engage for combat shields/stimpack", but not "Oh, I need to wait 30 more seconds before I engage for concussive shells". Its a nice upgrade to have, but its not game-changing. It certainly does help you win the game, as would the proposed reaper upgrade. | ||
