I'm currently level 23 and i'm playing exsclusively draft normals. Is a 1 for 1 trade ever worth it? I've been trying to answer this myself but i'm still not sure. I like to play careful and never give away deaths, but this means that I can face someone 4/4 roaming into my lane with lots of gear no matter how good my CS has been. In lane, a 1 for 1 trade is good for you if the other laner will lose more cs/exp then you due to it. For example, top lane if you have a large wave at their tower, and then dive them and go 1 for 1 before they can farm it, they miss all of that gold/exp while you lose way less. Is killstealing even a thing or is it just something people complain about in normals? The way I see it, so long as a non support champ gets the kill, it's helping the team still. Not really, the lower rating you get the more people complain about it, usually it's only even mentioned at high elo when people burn ALOT of cooldowns to snipe a kill that was pretty much 100% assured (like flash ult to finish off someone who has no way to get away) When someone in normals goes 10+ kills early on, is it eventually harming the team becasuse we have one champ who is OP against a team that will eventually catch them up. Would it be better to let the OP champ 'give away' some kills to the weaker champs on the team? If your fed, you should turn your strength into map objectives, such as pushing towers, getting dragons, etc, which helps out your entire team. Giving kills is something that you really just can't do, as if your team is that far ahead to play with the other team like that, it really doesn't matter. If your a bruiser, you may want to try and let your adc get the kills though, but if theres any risk of them getting away just kill them. If your ADC is getting stomped with 0 kills to 10 deaths, should that ADC get defensive items or try to keep building toward AD damage dealer status? Build damage, an ADC that does no damage is 100% worthless, where as if they are glass cannon they can still position well to compensate. Some exceptions to this, when positioning is pretty much impossible due to teamcomps, where you want to go 2 offensive items then get like a banshees or something.(For example, being against a Leblanc/Nocturne that is just diving you all day) Some answers from my experience.

You lose a few LP(5-10?), all in all it doesn't matter at all since you dont lose MMR, and your MMR determines what league you will be if you play enough games anyways. I almost always get it after I get 3 offensive items (i.e. BT, TF, LW on Lucian). Others I have seen get it after 4 offensive items and others I have seen never get one. What is the standard (e.g. you are not particularly fed nor are you feeding) and what situations would make you veer from that standard? Does it depend on the champion also, like mobile ADCs can hold off longer on the defensive item? There are two cases where you decide to get your defensive item. The first is when you feel you do enough damage (can kill their tankiest people pretty easily), and just want to have more of a margin of error in teamfights/getting picked. The second is when you NEED the item or you get zoned by the threat of damage. A good example is if your against a fed veigar, without banshees/qss you CANNOT get within stun range of him or he just kills you with w/q, while if you have that item you can actually get close enough to be a threat. Also, you should take into account how much dive they have and how much peeling power your team has. If you can't kite their bruisers effectively you need to be more tanky then if you can. Finally, it also depends on how many damage threats your team has. If your basically it, you need ALL of the damage you can get, but if you have like jax top ziggs mid wukong jungle you can afford to build tankier/safer, since theres less weight on your shoulders to kill the other team alone.

If your ADC is getting stomped with 0 kills to 10 deaths, should that ADC get defensive items or try to keep building toward AD damage dealer status? Absolutely, 1 for 1s are worth. First blood, if it will deny them a huge wave, in a 1v2 situation where you can't escape, when they have buffs, when they are stronger than you, when they're more important than you are, when you're behind, when it will stop them from taking an objective... The list goes on, but basically any time you do ANYTHING in League you're judging the worth of it. Will this help my team more than it will help theirs? Will this hurt their team more than it will hurt mine? Keep thinking of the bigger picture and you'll start to understand when trades are worth. Sometimes even just straight up dying to someone is worth it, like if it will allow your team to win a fight because you tied someone up or if it will slow them down so you can take inhib or baron or dragon. Just keep evaluating how much anything is worth. Here are some examples of judging worth: One last creep in the creepwave and it's lategame. You have 5 items and need 1600 gold to finish your last item. The entire enemy team is MIA. Is that creep worth? You just took their inhib and their entire team is coming up. Your entire team is low. The wraiths spawn as you're leaving. Is it worth? They just took baron and they're all low. It's just you and your support vs 5. Is engaging worth? Your top tower is about to fall. It has a creepwave building towards it that will absolutely destroy it. Dragon is coming up in one minute and you have teleport as Malphite top. Is it worth it to teleport and save the tower? These are all just examples and as long as you can justify your answers then it's fine, but basically my point is that you should constantly be evaluating the risk, reward, and consequences of everything you do.

I'm lvl 10, so is it just because I lack the higher level runes? Pretty much. Most jungles are pretty impossible until you have the runes for higher damage or the masteries for higher tankiness. Eve definitely falls under this category with how squishy she is.

Guess I'm stuck with Warwick. Yeah, it's no fun early but once you hit 30 you're 30 forever. Also, hopefully you're not playing against lvl 30 players at lvl 10. In theory everyone should be similarly weak.

I probably wouldn't reccomend Eve until you get an acceptable set of lvl3 runes

Can probably come really close to the edge of the bush and attack from there (if bush is warded) without actually being in the bush to jump on it. If you cant then idk, ask a teammate to help.
