Incidentally, the tick damage from Zilean's bomb does not trigger frostfang, sadly.

Maybe they changed it, but there was a definite point in time when bomb did one point of true damage with each tick. It was added so that bomb would trigger tower aggro. That was a really old change, though, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn it was reverted.

Once ahead, if you consistently live through teamfights your assist streak and full ult stacks make you an unkillable monster. If you miss Ruptures and/or are up against strong poke, enjoy crippling mana problems and being astonishingly squishy because you can't fully make use of your passive. I played with someone in normals doing this around this time frame. If it was you, I'm sorry for all the rage. I enjoy laning with some weird supports but this wasn't one of them.

His biggest drawback is obviously his lack of hard c.c. but if you're good with your harpoons he has pretty good poke/slow and really excels in teamfights and objective control and makes for one hell of a kill lane post-6

Seen brusier nids go chalice -> Trinity and it works pretty well. Sell it later in the game for something more cost effective of course.
