lol I haven't been watching closely, just realized Kid went LW and brutalizer on Draven. I assume from his low CS, iG gave farm to PDD instead.

This is their worst performance since worlds and quite a suprising one for a team that was considered the best in the world at the start of the tournament. For me, WE feels like a team that lost their style over the course of S3. OMG, PE, iG, Royal -- these are teams that found their styles, and learned how to play and draft to their strengths. But it feels like WE, in their complacency as #1, forgot what made them successful and sort of just played whatever. They need to go back to the beginning and figure out how to play and draft toward their strengths as a team again.

It's not so much the draft as much as the mechanical mistakes. In the dragon fight Fzzf didn't use his exhaust on the Karthus that flashed in and just ran around cause he was afraid of dying, And finally flashed ult in a fight that was already decided. This is a consistent problem from him I have noticed. His exhaust usage is pretty poor

This is a consistent problem from him I have noticed. His exhaust usage is pretty poor Fzzf has consistently been the least stellar player on WE to me. And a lot of mistakes can be attributed to comfort/playstyles. Teams naturally play better on champions/playstyles/teamcomps that they are comfortable with. Players don't spontaneously get worse at the game. They DO play worse at things that are out of their comfort zone/things that they're not good at. It's just that when WE was on top of the world, they could get away with playing things that they weren't actually good at because their opponents weren't good enough to abuse that. Like Misaya playing Orianna. But now that other teams have caught up, they need to go back to square 1 and find their comfort zone again.

@Yango, does the Chinese scene really value Zed picks? Edit: Actually it seems they like assassin mids in general. Is there a meta reason for this?
