Patoy is gud. No surprises there.

It's only one game but it's really weird to me that Scarra was so slow to pick up Zed (and never really picked up Kha). When Talon came out they had a field day with double assassin comps. Zed really feels like a really good for fit for Scarra and Dig. Just tunneling too much on Diana I guess.

He played a lot of zed nearer the end of last split, but never performed particularly well on it. I agree, I would like to see him use it more if he can keep this form.

Glad to see him branching out his champion pool with results. NA mid needs more competition.

Really glad TSM looked so in control, even if VES team was a bit strange.
Really glad to see VES trying out wonky things though.

Really glad to see VES trying out wonky things though. I'm only ever glad to see strange comps when they work, and VES certainly did not make it work.

If CLG beat TSM I think we MIGHT not get relegated this season.
As for curse I feel sorry for all of their players except saint :D .

Strange comps are always fun, repetition is boring :p. I just saw those picks and bans - was it lissy support, ori and vlad solo lanes?

As for curse I feel sorry for all of their players except saint :D . So is that to say that if they don't beat the current strongest (or second strongest) team, then CLG will probably get relegated? Sounds ridiculous to me.
Just to clarify, I'm criticising the yardstick of beating the best team before a quarter of the seasons games have been played as a measure for predicting relegation.

1. That was slightly tongue in cheek 2. You obviously don't know much about supporting terrible teams, pessimism is the best way to handle it

I'm from New Zealand... every single one of our athletes / teams is a significant underdog (with the one exception of our rugby team). For several years during the early 2000's our highest paid sporting figure was Tiger Wood's caddy... that's right... It wasn't some guy actually playing, it was a successful sportsman's bitch.
Pessimism is all fine and good, and would be something like "I don't think CLG has much of a shot against TSM", but saying something like "If this team doesn't beat the best team then they are gonna be relegated" isn't really pessimism, it's idiocy. I'm a CLG supporter (because I like supporting underdog teams with 'potential'). You can be pessimistic (yet still support your team) without using inane hyperbole.
Meh, whatever, it's not like it's a big deal I just found your statement to be dumb, and your explanation to be... well... not really an explanation. Didn't mean to make a big deal about it, so sorry if I did.
Either way, looking forward to a good game... I hope CLG can stay close enough going in to midgame and try and make something happen later on. CLG HWAITING.

But you had Wynton Rufer in the 90s. I love Wynton Rufer.
|
Man.. Wynton Rufer CARRIED us to a world cup spot. Like, pretty much all by himself. It remained our greatest football achievement for like 2 decades, until we finally scored our first WC goal... and then managed to be the only undefeated team at that tournament XD
|
At least your rugby guys used to be good. I say used to since I haven't followed sports since I went to uni and moved away from home. Even your cricket team doesn't choke as bad as ours. I mean sure they might not be that good but not chokers.
|
Eh, the blackcaps choke pretty hard... it's just they often don't get a chance to choke, because you actually have to be in a good position to choke. I haven't kept up with SA cricket recently, but a few years ago i thought they were like top4.

He carried us (Werder Bremen) in our most succesful era and to our only international title in 1992. He scored the 2:0 in the final match, too and is still one of the most beloved players in Bremen.

So it turns out the timestamp in this thread is wrong. I thought LCS was starting in 5 mins... turns out it's 2 hours and 5 mins.
