My guess at the moment would be at least 5 blue roles, plus possibly a town aligned day vig? I'm thinking 1 cop, 1 medic, 1 watcher/tracker, 1 vet and 1 vig/mad hatter. Also likely 1 Miller and the Day Vig. That leaves 6 townies(7 with the miller). Does this seems likely to other people? Thoughts? It seems reasonable but I dunno how likely. I wouldn't put it past Incog to put in a role that doesn't get used. At least for now I don't think we can hope that there is more than 5 blue roles... and we can assume tentatively that Incog didn't put in a role that doesn't get used. Thus I think its reasonable to assume thats the layout.

Hmm... now that I think more about it... since the watcher/tracker role is somewhat less powerful, its more likely we have another medic or detective thrown into the mix. Or perhaps an extra mad hatter, since flamewheel seems to think that Incog loves these guys.

We've done that since forever and people are so used to the strategy that I don't think it'll give us as much in the way of vote lists and voting patterns to analyze. I say that we make everyone talk then analyze behavior and if someone appears scummy, we shouldn't insta go for the inactive. That sounds fine but how do you propose we "make" everyone talk. Usually the plan for lynching an inactive on the first day stems from the strategy of making people talk.

I mean, the invites were sent out solely based on activity. If we're having a problem with activity, by all means, but for now lets try to analyze. Face the facts, mafia who try to coast by are lame, mafia who play hardcore are sweet. Like Incognito in Mafia XXII; that was well done. Despite what I said earlier about being skeptical that people could be forced out of inactivity... we might be hard pressed to find a true inactive. In the short time that this game has been open, there's only 6 people that haven't posted. 6. Chezinu 7. citi.zen 8. Foolishness 10. RebirthOfLeGend 14. johnnyspazz 15. LuDwig- And of these, I expect that they will show up soon. If it continues like this, and we get tons of active people and lots of posts to analyze then it might very well be more advantageous to skip the inactive lynch.

1) If not everyone (hatters and vigi's I'm looking at you) claims as planned then a lot of the info blue roles are at serious risk from red attack and we're basically blind. Also, we might not have any hatters or vigi's although I admit that I put this at low risk. Basically saying that the plan only really works if everyone's on board with it. 2) It puts high pressure on the townies, both from the town and from mafia. They will not only be easy pickings for the mafia, with basically no hope of protection from either hatters, vigi's and medics, but also with the difficulties in claiming blue, the mafia are very likely to hide amongst the townies as well, so the town will be scrutinizing those who claim green pretty severely. This isn't necessarily a bad thing... but it is a weakness. With "random shit" everyone gets at least a bit of protection from those roles. By concentrating their strength around the blue roles, you also must necessarily deprive elsewhere of them. 3) If our red include some players skilled in behavioral analysis, it will be easy to pick out detectives and their counterparts, from the hatters and vigi's... since there's a relatively small pool to focus on. Final thoughts... It's a decent plan and works extremely well is some situations... but can also fall apart if people don't cooperate or if there's a blue sniper in the mafia pool.

I am a watcher so that settle everyone down a bit. Chez might not ever rc... whatever. I never roleclaimed to Ludwig~ and he should check his pms to confirm, since I definitely never told him that. I was talking with Ludwig since I wanted to get an idea why he roleclaimed so quickly with L's plan and whether or not I can trust him or not. I'll be back in a bit with my vote on who to lynch and the reasoning in a little bit.

I'm not sure about MooCow lying... although for sure if there are two dts... then one of them is insane/paranoid, since that wouldn't really affect the balance at all... and might actually serve to hurt the town. If MooCow is lying... it'd be so easy to just say "Oh, I'm paranoid" since he keeps mentioning that his sanity is unknown repeatedly... so I'm not sure about him yet. Johnnyspazz is a little fishy... but I'm not really that convinced since it's basically like lynching an inactive. He just hasn't really participated that much... or given his thoughts on anything. The mafia might be trying to push his lynch through since he doesn't really do anything to defend himself. On the other hand, his unwillingness to be the sanity check is strange... and tends to lean me the other way. AFJ was looking a little red... well more like a pinkish hue... because his voting tendencies seemed really suspect, but after looking through his posts, I'm putting him on the backburner for now. So... at the moment I'm going to vote johnnyspazz... here's to wishing for red tonight.

If he is going to get mod killed from inactivity we can experiment on him. I hope not though because he seems like a fun mafia guy to play with. Yeah you're right... it was just something that occurred to me. I don't agree with lynching Chez on the grounds of inactivity though. As for tonight's lynch, I agree with Ludwig... it's not worth knowing the sanities and I don't think AFJ is really mafia, unless both our dts are lying and thats something we can check tonight. Not worth losing a green at this point. Now that we got L, it's well worth going through all his posts and checking very closely his connections. One that struck me right away was this: On June 13 2010 07:47 redtooth wrote: trust me, you're not that important. on that point, only 1 person in this game is really "important" enough to warrant a kill without having claimed blue. and that person is L. when he's alive tomorrow, we have some serious questions to ask. btw to those jumping on me for inactivity, i'm keeping up with the thread. i'm just not refreshing it every 5 seconds like i used to in previous games since i got burned out quickly by retarded flawed arguments. this game there just seems to be more spam though. This makes me think redtooth is green... He doesn't have much other activity, but just to keep this in mind.

Basically imo it's just an extra method to stop one or the other from claiming to find the same info ( only 50% chance though ) but still worth it and pretty easy to do. We can even PM 2 people ( AFJ and citizen ) you guys confirm it and then come out with the information to the public. Well... I think its a good idea to PM citi.zen with the info... since then at least you're unaware of the other people's findings... I doubt its really all that useful since it's not really that profitable to copy the other persons results.

There's a slight chance of there being mafia amongst our dts... but like radfield said, its questionable whether this is a good time to start offing claimed blues. flamewheel's willingness to undergo a check makes me hesitate to push a check on him... but it doesn't put him in the clear obviously. I would try for a redtooth alignment check tonight... or Chez...

I never said you were suspicious... I just said that I trust Ludwig... mostly because if he was mafia there's no way he would've stepped in before. His trusting of L isn't suspicious, tons of people followed L's plan... His reactions when Chez was shooting people was genuine I felt... he was just confused, as was I, at what the hell was going on. I have no reason to distrust you, and for sure you're low on the list of suspects...

I had been in PM contact with Ludwig a little and later claimed medic to him since he had defended me in the thread... through him I also had PM contact with Radfield, who also knew me as the medic (through Ludwig... not my decision to tell him) Now... not too long after I claimed to be watcher and had "found" the medic, Foolishness PMs me wondering why I hadn't contacted him yet and claims watcher and tells me (to prove that he's a watcher) that tree.hugger also visited Ludwig last night. Of course, I couldn't have known that, but regardless I was just so fucking elated that we had a medic/watcher pair, since now we can coordinate. Things proceed, now with me thinking I had a solid base with a watcher by my side... until I get a PM from L, asking me if Foolishness is the medic... I respond somewhat vaguely, but give him a strong indication that Foolishness is indeed the medic... knowing that if they went after him I could always protect him. Then L flips Godfather and the shit hits the fan and I knew that L would've told the rest of the reds to go after Foolishness. So tonight we schemed... I protected Foolishness, and he watched himself to see who hit him. AND IT WAS MOTHER FUCKING + Show Spoiler + LUDWIG The same friggin dude that I had supported and backed like a moron... Anyways... we lynch him today and we're down to 1 red...

Also... Radfield is the last mafia I beleive... too many close inexplicable ties with Ludwig then last minute trying to push away. I trusted Ludwig because I was being impulsive about his defense of me early on and took a risk (and a rather stupid one)... but when I didn't die I thought that it kinda proved that he wasn't red... since who wouldn't take a lovely medic dangled in front of you like that.
