I dunno if i would vote for someone for putting in an effort post that didnt have substance before there was any substance to be had. but i'll make sure i vote tomorrow morning before i leave.

I've got to go back home today but then ill be committed completely. From what I read so far its sad to see moonbear go but it does tell a lot. It's also hard not to talk about wave in any kind of observation because he is posting so much. It is interesting to note that he observed that it was too quiet right before the deadline, indicated that that ment scum were happy, and suggested changing it up. We see now that this would have been the right thing to do. But it could be an elaborate ploy to make him look good? Also I'd say soniv was the one that pushed the hardest for moonbear (i.e. sitting comfortably on his choice) which brings his loyalty into question despite his valid reasons and seeming confidence, threats to wave if he was red, and all that other stuff i will have to revisit. cant wait to see if cixahs inocent child is true and in that case hopefully we can get him protected or w.e? seems like we cant really point at anyone that blamed him before he came out with any certainty. I cant really read people like mordek and alzadar that seem to only be contributing but not too much and in which way? ketchup is throwing around a lot of votes but a couple of them were me and moonbear who are town so thats something ill keep in mind but might not mean much. seems like right now people are honing in on wave. and while his condescending sometimes seeming like "psh if you dont agree with me your bad" attitude rubs me the wrong way he could just really be that arrogant and flustered. Either way the crowd vs wave thing should tell a lot depending on who pushes more one way or another. I have a lot of re-reading and thinking to do tonight. Thanks for not lynching me day 1 since i couldn't be here as much as i would have liked too. sorry this post is a little fluffy but I haven't bent my whole detective ability against the scum yet!

Soniv is cleared for his push onto MB. can you tell me what i miss as to why? is it because he just stuck with his original gut feeling? you were on again off again on the moonbear train too. and it seems like for the most part you and soniv only have good things to say about each other. i.e. soniv desregarding scummy reads on you and you saying he is clear now. Can you explain more?

i feel wave and LT being townie after it looks like they put a lot of effort in near the finish time. and it turns out we were right to doubt our decision. even if LT is a little trollish often.

On October 14 2014 06:20 ketchup wrote: Comadose: Still hasn't done anything. I dislike his play so far as it is just afkmode or lurking. He doesn't give reads despite saying he will. Compare this to owb who gave town small new information that people hadn't pointed out yet. I feel much better with owb than coma even though both have had similar thread interactions. I have a feeling Coma will keep lurking because people aren't making enough of an issue about it. So again, I will ping out coma here. Well I did lean in with my opinions on some things I'm scared to stick my neck out too far during the night too because I am not as confident. One thing I weigh in on is of the "three big ones" or w.e. (refering to wave, lord tolk, and soniv) two of them were actively posting what looked like good advice right up to the end of the day and one of them was riding their vote to the finish line, which turned out to be bad. Also Lord Tolk said that soniv was totally cleared for that and I wonder if he stands by that in light of waves new posts? Is the reason still because a mafia wouldn't stick their neck that far out? Either way I agree with Alaric we shouldn't look at just these three big players. if we can push other players and get better leads we shouldn't keep our focus on the big mommy daddy battle. I feel like req is town and cixah too obviously, ghandhi seems sketchy for joining the moonbear train, while other people have valid explanations for doing so.

GhandiEAGLE - jumped on moonbear train without much explaination and stopped talking cause he was only hurting himself. wants to lynch wave, claims vanila townie. was also feeling pressure from our other dead townie. Alaric - wasn't solely convinced but was swayed by asmo to vote for moonbear if i read correcly ketchup - saw moonbear as obstacle whether he was mafia or not AsmodeusXI - leaned toward alz and moonbear whole time switching to moonbear to confirm kill, claims vanilla townie. jcarlsoniv - excused his actions before it even occurred but didn't seem to put much pressure on anyone other than moonbear (and maybe alz) and ultimately carried him to his death Cixah - townie wave, req, mordek, and alz, used their votes not for one of the major two. and owb voted no lynch. it seems reasonable that there is scum among those who voted moonbear. we have 2 confirmed vanilla townies and 3 people claiming vanilla townie. that sounds like a reasonable number considering we have probably 3/14 mafia but im not sure how it usually breaks down. id say jeff is my number one most likely scum. but i recall lord tolk said newbs who are mafia are usually not so troll-y and i have not forgiven soniv so easily.

that short comment came after the one that alaric didn't like (boo) and highlighted parts of that post. I cant be much poking the fire if I am not posting much. i'm less confident because my two reads were soniv and ghandi and they seem to be distancing themselves from each other with accusations. I will revisit to see if it is a ploy. I do KNOW that 3 townies voted for ghandi and that means 0 mafia put their vote there. Combining this with showing up when he was in danger to secure a moonbear kill I will put my money where my mouth is and ##Vote GhandiEAGLE not because he is a default vote, but for the reasons above and because I am not so sure about soniv. jeff did damage control during the night but didn't shake me. wave mentioned that he changed his vote to soniv because he said that flipping him would reveal more information. I have been saying i thought soniv was scummy for a while if not in so many words. but flipping ghandi red would be so great for my townie cred i could become like the second innocent child. lord tolk seemed to think that soniv would be crazy to be so brazen about lynching moonbear if he was mafia, but he is still my second choice.

(thank you by the way for acknowledging this, i havn't posted anywhere else on TL since friday becuase this is the only thread i could barely keep up with) that no mafia voted for him is not enough alone but like i said in that post you didn't like, it seems to suggest that its more likely scum voted for moonbear too. since jeff bandwagoned on that i consider it two strikes.

ghandi the safest thing would have been to get on the soniv bandwagon becuase it would have kept me out of the lynching chair. also im pretty sure im the only one that brought up our two dead people voted for you with me. about req im not sure. he seemed so townie to me day one but he has grown a spine. I think he is giving good different views. also he voted for wave day 1 which doesn't seem scummy really cause its kinda a waste. since then he has acted like wave if someone questions him (i.e. spazing a bit or as cixah called it barking at the wind) its a bit hypocritical but maybe he's just grumpy? I cant really see anything hes doing being good for scum.

for some of the same reasons surrounding the death of moonbear I have been saying im not sure about soniv. i was saying this before wave came out with his big attack. but could they both be scum? it doesn't seem too likely. if i have to pick a third? i don't know im not so keen on forgiving asmo so quickly for the bandwagon on moonbear. guessing what the mafia could be doing does seem townie, but i'm convinced there are scum among those who voted for moonbear, maybe i am focusing too much on that. but if asmo is scum he just attacked soniv so it seems unlikely they both are.

Maybe I misread, but you're wrong in that I did vote Moonbear (I wasn't sure of it and I fucked up, but I still voted him). There's something from your different posts, though. You've been mentioning Soniv, Ghandi, Asmo and (more or less) Req, but when trying to draw associations, you said: - Soniv + Ghandi scum is unlikely - Soniv + Asmodeus scum is unlikely So you bring up names but then you invalidate them through associations. Are you saying that you're having trouble to commit (which is unfortunate because once someone flip it may be too late even if it gives you conclusions, if we mislynch), but that you think Soniv shouldn't be lynched? Who are your reads then? From looking at the recent posts in your filter it looks like you're leaning Ghandi+Asmo, but you're refusing to say the word. yeah I am second guessing my reads for the reasons i mentioned in those posts. just trying to get my thought process out in the open in case anyone has anything to add. no doubt about me feeling the ghandi scum as that is where my vote presently lies for the reasons i outlined. my confusion about associations isn't strong enough to move my vote yet. But like i said him and soniv argued on the next page and i also had been leaning toward soniv for a while. also like i said I didn't want to forgive asmo so quickly for the not so explained jump on moonbear wagon but then he made an elaborate post calling for a lynch on soniv (which convinced a lot of people he wasnt scum). hmmm i just dont know i should even be trying so hard to draw connections between the three and maybe i should just be focusing more on identifying one bad one as opposed to connections between them. It wouldn't be hard to stage conflict. that's another reason i asked alzadar to confirm why he thought ghandi and soniv were likely both red if one of them is. if i can understand his reasoning i could approach this differently.

i said - no mafia voted for you, you switched to moonbear when in threat (i.e. joined townie linch band wagon), and your reads since were wishy washy. now i want to add the discrediting me out of hand too because you don't really address my points. ive already addressed the new point that i brought up. i didnt say nuthin bout hunting lurkers (that would be pretty hyprocritical of me)

i would be down to switch to someone else too. ghandi is creeping me out with how confident he is hes going to laugh at us. its not fair to say the only thing i did was point at ghandi i gave my reads on others too and answered everything i was asked. really bad timing to have to drive home and do groceries.
