Mafia is an educated guessing game of epic proportions. The objective of the game is to lynch or kill all mafia members before they outnumber the rest of the town. It's much like a game of poker because mafia members are also part of the town during the day and may manipulate the vote to their liking. If the mafia at any time outnumber or equal the townspeople, they win. The town's goal is to lynch all the members of the mafia.
The game is typically very active, so the thread will get big quickly. However, it is essential to read the thread to play the game. If you do not have the time or patience to read the whole thread, do not play. I will not compensate for ignorance.
Rules:
Cheating: Cheating includes (but is not limited to): 1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information. 2. Ruining the game by doing something like hand out your mafia's member list to the town. 3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role. 4. Comparing role PM times to determine roles. 5. Posting screenshots of your inbox. 6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host. 7. Getting yourself modkilled to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip. 8. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts. 9. Betting items outside of the game in exchange for in-game benefits. 10. Sharing accounts with other players unless cleared by the host in advance. Otherwise, only you may post on your account.
Cheating is not tolerated here. The punishment will be severe.
Posting:
Mod Font: This is mod font. It is reserved for moderators. Please do not use it.
Question Font: This is question font. You may use this font to ask the moderators anything BEFORE the game. Anything asked DURING the game will be ignored.
Activity: You must post in this thread TWICE per day/night cycle and vote every day while you are alive. Failure to do so will result in a warning; a second offence will result in a modkill.
Smurfs/Hydras: I will allow smurfing. Please send me a PM with who you are playing as. Hydras will not be permitted.
Post Restriction Rules: There will be no post-restriction for this game. However we will be vigilant with spam for the sake of readability.
Spam is not tolerated, nor is any off-topic material. Do not discuss Proleague here. Do not talk about Starcraft II here. Play Mafia here. This also means you should condense your posts when possible. 15 one-liners in 30 minutes is unacceptable.
Encryption: Don't do it.
Editing: Editing is not allowed for any reason. Editing will result in a warning. If we discover you to have changed any content whatsoever, you will be modkilled. This is the one part of the site where it is okay to be double posting, even triple-posting. While I ask for everybody to post as concisely as possible, post again using the acronym (EBWOP: Edit by way of posting) if you want to clarify/correct something you just posted.
Inappropriate posts: If you want to post something insulting or inappropriate and know the TL mods would have a problem with it elsewhere, don't post it here. If you do, a host will warn you or modkill you and request that you be banned from future games. The hosts have the final say on what is inappropriate. If you do not like how someone is talking to you, please PM a host, Foolishness or GMarshal before involving the TL staff. If you are unsatisfied with how the situation is resolved, then you can appeal to the TL staff normally.
Reporting posts: The report button is a nice feature for regular TL, but not for this forum. We prefer to deal with things in house if possible to avoid confusion among the TL staff. If you have a problem with how someone is posting, talk to the host, co-host, or GMarshal before using your report button. Please do not use your report button for anything other than inappropriate posts which you feel are not being dealt with adequately.
Ban discussions: Please wait until this game is over to talk about modkills and bans resulting from this game.
Play to win. This means you play your best to help your team win while you are alive and in the game. However, this does not mean that you should try to win by being a jerk to the other players so they all want to quit playing.
This also means that you cannot leave the game without a good reason without a ban. These situations will be dealt with on a case by case basis. PM me or the co-host if you need to leave the game.
You have been warned.
Voting rules:
This game uses plurality lynch. The player with most votes at deadline will be lynched. 1. Voting is done in the voting thread. The voting thread is linked in my important posts spoiler. Please keep votes there, and only vote there. Do not PM me your vote. 2. Please vote in the following format: ##vote: Half the Sky. Votes not done in the correct fashion will not be counted. I or my co-host will update vote counts whenever we get the chance. 3. If you change your vote, please ##unvote before posting another vote (can be done in the same post). 4. No conditional voting. 5. You may not vote for yourself. You may not vote for anyone dead or outside the game. 6. You may not vote for a no-lynch. 7. Voting is mandatory. You may NOT abstain. Failure to vote will result in a warning on the first offence. Subsequent offences will result in a modkill.
Signups and Wisdom of the Crowds:
Signups will be open to all players regardless of experience.
Please exercise caution if you are new to forum mafia - I would recommend you sign up for the newbie game which will have coaching available.
The hosts also reserve the right to deny participation to those individuals that are known to disrupt the playing experience for others. If we also receive more than five (behaviour based) objections on a specific player, we will most likely not allow that individual to play. We want everyone to have a positive experience playing on TL regardless of their skill level.
Game-specific rules:
Modkills: This game follows the TL Mafia Ban List. If you are modkilled, your punishment will go beyond being eliminated from this game. Please refer to it for questions about your punishment. If you want to use this game to sit out your ban, please PM us and post in the Ban List.
Behaviour: 1 Simply put, do not be a dick. We will pre-warn, warn or modkill you if you approach or cross the line. I am specifically most against personal attacks. These games are meant to be fun for everyone; play the game, but don't ruin the experience. 2 Absolutely, positively, no discussion about other concurrent games in this thread. This can affect other games and is unacceptable. Please do not refer to outside-of-thread activity of players in this thread. Violation of this rule will result in a warning; subsequent offences will result in a modkill.
Replacements: This game uses replacements. Replacements will be made until Night 2. If a player needs to depart after Night 2, he or she will be modkilled. No exceptions. If a player is modkilled before Night 2, they will be replaced by a player on the replacement list if possible. Type /replace if you want to be put on the replacement list.
Clues: There are no clues. The storyline in my game is for entertainment purposes only.
PMs: PMs are not allowed in this game, with the exception of the scumteam and masons. No out-of-thread communication of any sort is allowed for other players. The scumteam and masons, if any, will be provided their respective QTs to communicate in.
Coaches: As there is a newbie game currently open, there will be no coaches allowed this game.
Shadows: I will permit shadows this game. If you shadow a player, I will provide a separate QT for you and your shadow. If your player happen to RNG into the scumteam, you will not have access to scum QT.
Observers: Please PM the hosts for the Observer QT once the game has started, otherwise, type /obs in the signup thread.
Time Cycle: This game will follow a 24 hour night/48 hour day-cycle. The deadline is 22:00 GMT (+00:00). Please note the deadline is xx:59 and I will not accept votes/actions at xx:00. Do not post after the deadline. Any alignment relevant information posted after the deadline and before the flip will result in a modkill. The game will resume when the night post is up. There will be a universal silent resolution period of 30 minutes for night actions.
Credits: Thanks to pretty much every TL mafia player/host/mod/etc who has hosted and revised rulesets/guidance. Many thanks to Blazinghand, Artanis and Kitaman who have all provided me with much insight and guidance regarding hosting over my time here at TL. A shoutout to Fecalfeast for helping me cohost this game. Much <3 to all of you!
This is a semi-open setup. Possible roles are known but the exact number is not.
Sherpas and Mountaineers
Win condition: All Bhutanese militants are eliminated or concede or nothing can stop this from happening.
The Sherpa (Town Vanilla) The Sherpa are an ethnic group residing largely in the Himalayas. You make your living related to mountaineering and it is in your best interest to protect each other as well as the people that adventure on your turf.
Visiting mountaineers (Millers) You are not one of the Sherpa, but you are climbing Mount Everest, often relying on the Sherpa to navigate the pitfalls of high altitude. You will return as a Bhutanese militant to alignment checks. You are not aware.
Tour guides (Wanderers) Several tour groups have situated themselves at both the advanced and main base camps. By day and by night they will help many people achieve their goal of conquering Everest. You are not aware.
Lhakpa “Apa” Tenzing (Detective) Also known as the Super Sherpa, this mountaineer has climbed Mount Everest 21 times. Everyone knows him, and he knows everyone so well in mountaineering that he knows where they stand. Each night he can submit the name of a player to check their alignment.
Lhakpa Tsheri (Tracker) A well known mountaineer and outdoorsman, Tsheri is especially known for descents from summit via paraglide. She is also able to sense using any means of transit in the mountain; at night she is able to select one player to investigate his/her whereabouts.
Dawa Tenzing (Jailer) As the Super Sherpa’s daughter, you keeps other mountaineers at home on their way to summit. Each night you can select one player to take in for the night. They may not take action on anyone, and are protected from all KP.
The Ihawa (Banisher) The Ihawa is a Buddhist shaman that deals with the supernatural and has the power to expel any suspect mountaineers from Everest. (S)he can choose to banish one player per night, where that player will be prevented from taking any action but will also be unaffected by any action taken on them.
Nima Chhamzi (Named Town) In 2012, at 16 years of age, Nima was the youngest woman to ever scale Everest. At 19, she’s become a well known guide on summit, booked and in high demand from visiting mountaineers.
The Iama (Town Vigilante) A regional spiritual leader, his powers can order away one person permanently once per game from the mountains of his choosing. (S)he has only one attempt and if roleblocked, cannot do so again.
Pasang Lhamu and Dawa Yangzum (Masons) A mountaineering team that have scaled K2 together, they have gotten to know each other incredibly well over the summer of 2014. They are confirmed town to each other.
Bhutanese militants
Win condition: Bring the numbers of the Sherpa equivalent to your level, or to a condition where nothing can stop this from happening.
Rogue Sherpas (Mafia Godfather) They are Sherpas, except in name only. Rogue sherpas loot camps and sabotage equipment, leading to more deaths on Mount Everest. They can only be caught by their actions. Returns Sherpa to alignment checks, and is untrackable.
Tribal Commander (Mafia Roleblocker) The military commander has many uses of force at his disposal and knows how to stop potential threats to his cause. Once per night he can select one individual whose efforts to hamper and that person cannot take action for the night.
Linzi Ro Akke (Mafia Framer) A Sherpa exiled by her tribe, she seeks revenge on the community that banished her through sabotage. Each night she can select one individual who will return the opposite alignment when checked. She cannot frame herself.
Assassin (Mafia Vigilante) The assassin is stealthy and knows how to survive in the remote regions of the Himalayas, and knows to target the high-profile Sherpas in the region. (S)he has one shot and if roleblocked, loses that bullet.
Nightwatcher (Mafia Rolecop) The nightwatcher for the militant camps occasionally is sent out to spy on the Sherpas. Each night, he can check the role of a player.
Footsoldiers (Mafia Vanilla) The base of the pyramid for militant attacks, militants carry out attacks on tourists and climbers on the east end of the Himalayas.
Sources: BBC News, Wikipedia, various guides on the Sherpa
1 There are no notifications unless absolutely necessary. 2 There are no alignment changing mechanics. 3 There are no third party roles. 4 If the vigilante is either roleblocked or shoots into protection, (s)he will not be refunded. 5 A mafia powerrole may carry KP and use their ability on someone else simultaneously. 6 The mafia RB always supercedes the banisher. 7 The mafia RB and town jailer resolve simultaneously. The jailer loses protective ability and the RB, if delivering KP, will have that delivery stopped. 8 The veteran is roleblockable. 9 KP from opposing factions resolve simultaneously. 10 The scumteam are permitted to hold their shot if they wish.
Mafia KP = 2kp N1-2, 1kp thereafter KP must be delivered by individuals and subject to RB/tracking rules.
If there are any questions on roles or rules, you can ask openly until game start. Once the game starts, everything must be kept in PM land.
I will be sending out confirmation PMs in the next hour so we know everyone's here (it took some time to fill up) and we'll start at 22:00 GMT (+00:00) tonight. You do not need to confirm here.
People wishing to shadow others, or willing to volunteer to host shadows should make arrangements in this thread, prior to anticipated game start tonight.
Those wishing to observe can PM Fecalfeast for the Observer QT.
There will be about 30-40 minute period of silence prior to game start as we RNG the roles and disseminate PMs. Until then, carry on.
Presently at 12/17 confirms, and 2 players (Holyflare and Onegu) willing to host shadows. Newbies, this is your chance to learn!
Additionally if there are any questions about anything in the rules/OP/mechanics (particularly the newer players to TL) this is your chance to ask in the open. Once the game starts, you must ask privately.
If I understand correctly, and any of the longtime players can correct me here, VisceraEyes has been mislynched at least 30 times? (or is that just lynched in general?)
On June 17 2015 02:51 boxerfred wrote: "There will be a universal silent resolution period of 30 minutes for night actions."What does that mean?
Using my edit rights before they are removed :x
Since you are quite new, I'll break what resolution periods - and the different types mean.
Any silent resolution period means you cannot post in that window. So when I say 30 minutes of silence, you cannot post anything from 21:30 GMT (+00:00) to 22:00 GMT (+00:00) which will be the daypost.
In our last game, Not Themed, there was a one-hour resolution period. It was NOT silent - we could carry on.
Now, the "resolution" part.
Universal resolution - for this game, it means both the town's blue roles and scum have until 21:30 GMT (+00:00) to get in their actions, including the KP for tha mafia. Both sides have the same amount of time.
If I had said instead a 30-minute scum resolution period, what this means instead is that scum have 30 minutes longer than the blue roles to submit their kills and night actions, or basically until the daypost.
The reasons for having resolution periods is to prevent any one from directing the mafia kills or for town to gain an advantage by saying who they have taken action on in the event of their death.
Also in larger setups, moderators may need more time to resolve actions.
If you are town vanilla, you only need to know that you cannot post 30m before the daypost.
If you are blue or mafia, you need to get in your actions to us before 30m prior to daypost, after which you cannot post in thread. (Anyone with any QTs may keep posting in QTs.)
On June 17 2015 03:13 wherebugsgo wrote: is there a particular reason it's silent in this game? I would prefer if it's not
I have returned.
I need the 30 minutes to resolve actions otherwise I will not get the daypost to you lot in time.
But as for silent versus non-silent, no particular reason. If there is strong sentiment one way or another (seems like Rasputin is inferring it's mafia favoured) I can change that, most games I have seen/been where it's been in effect have actually had the silent resolution.
In fact your game Bugs was the first game I recall in awhile where there was a universal resolution period but not silent. But I could be wrong.
EDIT: I'm an idiot. I had a shorter amount for Guardians and it wasn't silent. In any case though, if there is a strong sentiment I'll change it.
On June 17 2015 03:50 Blazinghand wrote: By the way, people who got into shitfights in my game, I've got my eye on you. I fully expect you to act like adults and do better this game.
On this, I do want to say the following - this is primarily aimed at the veterans and not just those who are coming out of Witchcraft 3 for that matter:
This is a new game, and furthermore there are a number of players on this roster that are also on the newer end of TL. Those of you who have experience, act like it. Namely, set the example not just in your gameplay but in your behaviour. Regardless of alignment, or how the game is going for you, there's no excuse to act like a dick, and ruin the game experience for others. I want people to have fun here, and/or at least learn from any mistakes they are making.
We have 16/17 confirmations in with the one replacement. If Bill Murray does not confirm by the silence period, ruXxar will take his place instead. We will start on time as expected at 22:00 GMT (+00:00).
14 June 2015 Heathrow Airport, Hounslow, United Kingdom
Armed with equipment, warm clothing and tools at your disposal, our team are jetbound for Kathmandu, where we will hire transportation for 100km to the south base camp, where the ascent starts. It is an expensive journey we have taken, 40 days minimum, given the acclimatisation we will need to deal with the lower oxygen levels. The climbing gear required to reach the summit, at 8,848 metres, has run each of us 7000 GBP, when the cost of bottled oxygen is accounted for. The permit for the team ran about 14,000 GBP, and we have funding and are ready to hire Sherpas and professional guides to cook or carry equipment as we ascend.
Though extremely expensive, it's worth it, and after years of physically training and mountaineering in other parts of Europe, we are finally ready to tackle the highest summit in the world. But that mission isn't without danger and we don't just mean the elements.
Tribal lords and militants from Bhutan and China have infiltrated into Everest territory, threatening to sabotage camps.
But we understand that you, the Sherpas look after your own, and who they are hired to attend to.
This is their territory. This is your livelihood. The rogues know how to blend in quite well, having taken out increasing numbers of Sherpas closer to the summit.
Can you protect your fellow climbers and guides? Can you snuff the militants out?
The silence period begins now. There is to be no posting whilst role PMs are sent out.
From this point onwards, all questions need to be done privately.
Ran my checklists goodness knows how many times. I looked up at the map, the areas we needed to get to, the weather forecast.
Then I scaled the advisories of criminal activities in the area. As if the elements weren't enough.
The landing at Kathmandu felt like 10 years ago but only yesterday at the same time.
We knew the ridges harboured some criminal activity but little did we realise exactly how much.
But the Sherpa will keep us safe. Or will they?
Day 1 has begun.
We are underway - Day 1 has begun! The voting thread is here. Day 1 ends in at 22:00 GMT (+00:00). At that time, the player with the most votes gets lynched.
Moderator Announcement: Please welcome Lohengramm to the game. Effective immediately he shall replace Bill Murray. Additionally, I failed to mention earlier, but disformation is shadowing Onegu.
A few reminders regarding voting, especially for those newer to TL:
1 Everyone - do not forget to vote in the voting thread. For large games (more than 13 players) moderators will always have a separate voting thread. Only votes in the voting thread will be counted. This is to prevent errors.
2 Voting reminders for non-voters will be sent via PM and QT, where applicable.
3 Failure to vote will result in a warning for first offence, modkill for subsequent. (Some moderators will directly modkill.) In any case, getting modkilled for failure to vote will result in a post-game ban. Do not forget to vote.
4 Voting closes at 22:00 GMT (+00:00). Votes are accepted at xx:59 but NOT at xx:00.
5 In the event of a tie, the player that first reached the largest given number of votes will be that evening's lynch.
"Lhang! Lhang!" screamed a Sherpa as he chased his child outside his home. Situated on the northern side of Everest, Changtse started experiencing a higher wave of crime recently.
The young child was wandering in the rugged areas where rogue sherpas would situate themselves moving closer to the base camps of Everest and the surrounding mountains, looking to swindle mountaineers and hosting Sherpas.
Lhang was scooped up by his father and then turned around face to face with another female Sherpa, a face he didn't recognise, at least from the immediate area.
"Who are you? Where are you from?" he yelled, repeating the same questions in Nepali, Chinese, and then again in English, fearing that she could be a rogue. But the woman didn't answer, and instead drew a knife upon the man and child.
The father, Ra, had a metal baton on him which he used to bat the woman's arm away and then once he had her off balanace - child still in his left arm and all - managed to run as fast as he could towards his family hut.
Ra and Lhang managed to make it inside the home, but the woman managed to break in through the back door of the hut. Ra shooed his child to a cornered room whilst managing to drag his intruder outside screaming like a banshee.
"Ayyyeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" the intruder screamed as Ra hurled her near the edge of the path, hurtling towards the abyss that lay below the layer of rock his hut was situated on. Ra slid downward closer to the edge and managed to blow on the makeshift whistle around his neck.
But in an instant, the intruder took advantage of Ra's speed, ducked underneath him and used her agility to hoist Ra over the cliff, plunging to his death.
Boxerfred, a Sherpa (Town Vanilla), has fallen into the abyss!
Slipping from the ledge, boxerfred has fallen into the abyss. Day 1 has ended.
It is now Night 1. Please submit your night actions to Fecalfeast and myself. Please note the 30 minute silent resolution period. Night 1 ends in at 21:30 GMT (+00:00).
"How many Sherpas do we need to attend to our team?" I asked our group leader.
Blazinghand, Kitaman, Artanis and myself managed to hire a few for our party but the team needed to meet the guides and continue with acclimatisation exercises before we could begin our ascent.
GMarshal looked around and sighed. "Eight max, anymore and it could get too crowded once we hit the death zone. Some of those areas are so thin we can only go single file. Too big of a party will put us all in danger."
"I'm thinking depending on everyone's physical condition," I quipped, "I wouldn't go past six. I'd probably try and conduct a physical on everyone to make sure no one is going to be struggling physically but if we are getting near eight hires and people still can't keep up, we might need to force some people to turn back."
I went back to the hire tent to task another two Sherpas to assist us.
GMarshal then tapped me on the shoulder.
"Have you seen Kelsier by any chance?"
"Me?" I replied. "No, not since daybreak actually. Why?"
"I have been trying to get ahold of him since last night. We hired him last night, you know."
"I know that, I met him last night, but you don't know where his tent is? He situated near the commissary, since he has a ridiculous appetite."
"Yeah, that's the problem. The tent is actually gone."
My eyes popped. My heart racing, I bolted towards the commissary. The area where Kelsier's tent should have been was vacant.
"What the fuck..." I muttered. I then stormed around several adjacent tents for a few minutes...and then about a good 50m away I saw his tent collapsed. We rushed over and teared open the tent only to reveal his corpse.
"Holy fucking shit, someone's choked him to death." I cried.
KelsierSC, a Sherpa (Town Vanilla), has been asphyxiated.
Day 2 has begun. The voting thread is here. Day 2 ends in at 22:00 GMT (+00:00). At that time, the player with the most votes gets lynched.
Kelsier's passing shook all of the camp, and had prompted the rest of the party, plus the hired Sherpas, to sleep closer together in case there was a rogue Sherpa running about.
I looked over at Artanis, who was marking our collective camp with tape and stakes.
"You really think that's going to deter anyone from attacking us?" I muttered.
"No but we'll know if they have gotten a bit too close."
I sighed.
Fecalfeast meanwhile rolled out a map for us to find space to review further acclimatisation exercises - it would be at least another 10 days before we could begin progressing to Camp 1.
BOOM.
A loud explosion occurred to the south of us at Base Camp 1. We all rushed to the edge looking below, seeing the smoke rise from the explosion.
"What the fuck was that?" yelled Fecalfeast.
"Not sure, and not sure what if anything we can do about it up here. Could be a problem if this affects us ascending or descending."
Incidentally it didn't take us long to receive the grim news.
"So here's what went down." GMarshal would tell us later, "Base Camp 1, administration and regional Sherpa leaders flooded to investigate. A generator near the base camp had been sabotaged and unfortunately one of the Sherpas had been caught entirely too close; the rogue Sherpa - as evidenced by a semi-charred jacket left behind - had barely managed to flee."
"They're ramping up security, but it makes things for us all the more dangerous. Might need to call a meeting and see where everyone's head is at."
Lohengramm, a Sherpa (Town Vanilla), was caught out in the explosion.
Slipping from the ledge, Lohengramm has fallen into the abyss. Day 2 has ended.
It is now Night 2. Please submit your night actions to Fecalfeast and myself. Please note the 30 minute silent resolution period. Night 2 ends in at 21:30 GMT (+00:00).
We were abruptly woken up by the wailing of sirens and the buzz of helicopters.
GMarshal had been up for at least a few hours, but he summoned the rest of our party up.
"Welp, we might not be able to proceed on our expedition," he quipped. "I was up all night talking to a group of Sherpas and another Nepalese group that were on their way through the Khumbu Icefall. One of them, Breshke said he was a bit worried about the instability with the seracs. Unfortunately that group of twenty that I saw off are all feared lost."
"Jesus fucking christ," muttered Kitaman.
"Icefall?" I asked.
"Ice avalanche." GM replied. "We can't get to Camp 1 at all."
Breshke and Ritoky, as Sherpas (Town Vanilla), both perished in the avalanche.
Day 3 has begun. The voting thread is here. Day 3 ends in at 22:00 GMT (+00:00). At that time, the player with the most votes gets lynched.
Fecalfeast walked over to the edge of base camp 2 as he prepared to gather more supplies for the dwindling supply that the party had. Another avalanche had hit both base camps and he was desperate as ever.
He walked inside the supply tent, and found the Sherpa vendor dead behind the table, dead from a stab wound.
"Oh fuck," Fecalfeast tried to race out of the tent, but ran into a intruder. It was a nightwatcher, a Bhutanese militant who'd somehow been one of many to encroach all the way from across Tibet.
"DIE!" the watcher screamed as he attempted to knock Fecalfeast out, although the latter was entirely too quick to dodge his attempt.
Fecalfeast grabbed an axe and spiked the watcher in the rib, who then swore profusely in Chinese. Unable to comprehend what the intruder was saying, Fecalfeast simply kicked him in the groin.
"FACK! FACK! FACK!" he screamed as Fecalfeast swung and missed with his axe. The watcher bolted outside but not without the latter giving chase.
The watcher fled the tent, only for Blazinghand to rush in and spray him with a retardant. The watcher spun back, only for Fecalfeast to trip him and then he struck him in the back of the neck with his axe.
"What the hell," Blazinghand started.
But it was too late.
The watcher stumbling to get up, never felt anything more as Fecalfeast gave a crushing, finishing blow to the back of the watcher's head, splitting his skull directly in two.
"WOW!" screamed Blazinghand, "What, why...."
"The shopkeeper was dead by his hand and this bastard, he was sabotaging our camp, no question." responded Fecalfeast. "Fucker deserved to die."
Mig, the nightwatcher (Mafia Rolecop), had his skull split open!
Slipping from the ledge, Mig has fallen into the abyss. Day 4 has ended.
It is now Night 4. Please submit your night actions to Fecalfeast and myself. Please note the 30 minute silent resolution period. Night 4 ends in at 21:30 GMT (+00:00).
Alakaslam, this is a warning - speaking in a game you're not in, in any capacity, is unacceptable.
It is unacceptable that you've done this in multiple games (from what I understand) and twice over especially as you are actually sitting out this game. If you post any further, your sitout will not be counted.
"Any gas or kerosene left?" screamed Kitaman as he was looking for fuel to cook food.
"Yes," Artanis replied, "but we are running ridiculously low. I'm making a trip to the commissary and see what we're rationed for tomorrow, but honestly we might need to rely on snow for the rest of today."
"Tomorrow?" he fumed. "If we don't have enough resources, there won't BE a tomorrow, idiot!"
"Alright Kita," Artanis replied, "you need to calm down."
"This is no time to panic," I yelled at him.
"This is the perfect time to panic!" Kita yelled in return.
Artanis and I then headed down to the supply centre at the opposite side of the camp. Just as we checked in, both the vendor Sherpa and us caught another individual trying to loot the gas racks.
"Get the fuck out!" Artanis screamed.
We all gave chase to the looter, who then managed to haul a gas tank as we all nearly tripped over each other in the snow. As the vendor managed to whistle for help, she managed to get staff to close off one escape route for the looter. The looter was audaciously forced to divert to the middle of camp towards the large bonfire that was being used communally for heat and for food on camp.
I apologised as I grabbed a nearby ice axe from another person's tent, intending to use it as a weapon as I closed in on the intruder. Hurling it like a boomerang with forward speed on my end I flung it in spinning motion. As the axe landed, it caught the intruder in the back of the neck, resulting in losing the gas tank from her grip and simultaneously flying forward....right into the large bonfire right after her loot.
A large screetching sound emitted from the tank as the looter's body slammed into the wooden structure constructed for the bonfire.
KABOOM.
Screams erupted from the middle of camp as the corpse of the intruder flew several metres in the air as the flames blossomed in an insane fireball and Artanis and I ran immediately for cover.
"Good lord," muttered Artanis.
"Guess I owe someone I'm guessing 70 euros for 'borrowing' their axe, although I'm glad this didn't result in further tragedy." I replied.
We emerged from the tent and sure enough, medics and authorities were inspecting the charred corpse, which had landed in the large central space near the bonfire.
"Looks like the body of a dead Sherpa," Artanis muttered. "You're going to die a hero even if you don't make it off alive."
"Piss off Artanis," I replied. "Don't say I'm going to die. You are scaring the shit out of me."
ShoCkeyy, as Linzi Ro Akke (Mafia Framer), was obliterated.
Slipping from the ledge, ShoCkeyy has fallen into the abyss. Day 5 has ended.
It is now Night 5. Please submit your night actions to Fecalfeast and myself. Please note the 30 minute silent resolution period. Night 5 ends in at 21:30 GMT (+00:00).
"I'm going to do another head count," I told GMarshal, "and see if we can charter our own way out of here."
"Start with the Sherpas and our attendants please," he requested.
I nodded and then took off for the area where we had our Sherpas set up their tents. I went over to the tent of Dawa Yangzum who knew the area very well and perhaps could help us with charter transit away from Everest.
"Dawa!" I called. No answer.
I rapped the entrance to her tent. Again, no answer.
"Dawa, are you here?"
I lifted a flap off a tent.
To my horror, I discovered Dawa dead inside her tent, a gash to her throat.
Fidei86, as Dawa Yangzum (Mason), was found dead in her tent.
Day 6 has begun. The voting thread is here. Day 6 ends in at 22:00 GMT (+00:00). At that time, the player with the most votes gets lynched.
I was very shocked at LS switching votes briefly catching up.
Town collectively made a lot of mistakes.
LS named town claim wasted a very significant amount of time d1. Please never do that again. I know wagon pressure sucks I was wagoned first 4/5 games here but fake claiming rarely if ever helps town.
The GB DT d3 lynch might rank up there for biggest blooper 2015 especially from a claim analysis standpoint. Rasputin figured it out but....
I have a load of notes I can post when I return from holiday.
As for HF surviving his red check...that's been touched on already.
