That's mafia talk. I've already made it known that I am not mafia. What more has to be said?
Furthermore, you say this after you post. This implies that you did not think about what you said before, or that you did not really read through my accusations. Nextly, you called me stupid. You were attempting to ridicule my analysis (which I admit it laughable), but now you've gone completely into the irrational. It's incredibly mafia-like. You came into this thread to convince everyone else that you're not mafia, only because I said you were. And you did it in a way that is typical of a mafia. I'll be voting to lynch you next round. I'm more than convinced by your behavior that you're part of the killers of the town.
Also, I hope you realize that BloodyCobbler did this randomly. And he couldn't have expected that I would be posting this way. That way of thinking is illogical and irrational. It's also incredibly stupid. And you are not stupid. No, you just didn't think. And you have to think about what you post, because you know who is who. Because you need to stay alive. Because you're mafia.

Nevake, you might have to watch out as well. I've already caught one of you. If I look hard enough at the helmet I wear on my head, I'm sure I can find some clues that pertain to you.
Behavioral analysis is legitimate. I posted that. I'm sorry if it's below you. You pointed this out before, but I only spoke when I WASN'T accused. Do you really have no memory? Or are you attempting to manipulate this situation so that mafia might win? Why would I want to save myself? As a green townie, I hope to get killed by mafia. It gives the blues another round. Of course, some of the blues have been off (to put it delicately) this game, and they decided it best to send their roles to someone they should not have trusted. You're calling me an idiot yet I'm not dead. I have neither been lynched during the day nor murdered at night.
I have no need to defend myself. No one in their right mind could possibly mistake me for a mafia or a silencer. By the way, nevake, I'd appreciate it if you decide to read posts. That's always nice. I do. Read the one above your post. If my eyes are not deceiving me, then I write, "attempting to ridicule my analysis (which I admit it laughable)." You see that right? RIGHT? RIGHT? I hope I'm not wrong. Hopefully I actually wrote that. I'm telling you that I acknowldege that my light clues are weak. That wasn't the point of my analysis. Firstly, I hoped that it would show everyone the quality of clue analysis thus far. And secondly I wanted to see Amber[Light]'s behavior after my post. His response was incriminating, or stupid. And your behavior now is incriminating, or, once again, stupid.
When my posts look stupid, there's a purpose to them. It's not because I'm stupid. Oftentimes it's to keep myself entertained. I sometimes want to see how people react to my posts, and make personal observations from that. Usually not. But I wish that this helmet could be surgically removed from my head. It's heavy, and my brainy is empty. Haha, a rhyme.

Hmmm. Maybe the PMs I've sent out to everyone would be helpful to any adventurous clue searchers. I'll do some clue hunting very shortly. I would have said that Coca Cola Classic is mafia, but then I realized that he's not in the game. A liquid is thrown in the first day, and it leaves the dead BC faceless. It also kills him. I deduced from this that it might be venomo45, since he has the word venom in his name. The clue itself is rather ambiguous, leaving someone faceless implies that the liquid pierces through the person face. An acid would resolve that.

Subject: Re: Mafia Date: 12/20/08 09:02 I'm sorry for sending a third e-mail, but a thought just occurred to me. Find something in the clues that link back to me. Please.
The fact that you're posting that I'm a mafia only aids the town in incriminating you later on. There's absolutely nothing except either stupid townies or plotting mafia saying that I am a mafia. Look at nevake. He's saying that I have produced no evidence. He just repudiated my analysis on the guy's behavior. Then he decides to analyze mine. He offered no analysis from the clues about me being mafia. The guy's a hypocrite. He's also a stupid townie or a mafia. It's really just an either or in their situation.
OBVIOUSLY mafia WILL NOT kill me because of the way I'm acting now. I take that for granted. It would be stupid of them to kill me. Of course, you could very well be mafia. Doesn't matter that I'm telling you this, though.

No. I've decided to keep going.
From what I gathered in the Day 1 post, there is a clear link to the dark templar. BC "jumped back as a hand reached for him from the darkness, then fired at where the hand had come from, only to hear the bullet slam into a wall." If that's not evidence enough, the sentence right after states that "figures in black cloaks and hoods were all around." The DT is invisible because of a cloak. Then again, the same holds true for wraiths and ghosts. I don't know to whom I can attribute this clue. I'd like to ask for some help for fellow townies on this.
I have this written down, but I can't seem to find from what profile it came from: "Visualize success, but don't believe your eyes." There are inconspicuous references to eyes (glaring, etc.). This can also go back to the DT reference, although that would be more than pushing it.
In the first Day post, BC learns, "who was responsible for this crime." zeks profile suggests a similarity of phrasing, for it says, "With great power comes great responsibility." Granted this is weak, but I wonder where zeks has gone in the thread. I know he was the first to bring up again the stargate references. Capek pressed those references (i.e. he attempted to make clear their validity). Capek was mafia. Zeks, I think, was one who posted that he liked my posts. Whenever someone says that, I had to grow suspicious, especially since they added nothing useful to the town. Still, take this analysis with a grain of salt.
Meegrean's signature says, "my scourge got scourged." There is certainly a reference to essentially getting beaten up in the Day 2 post. Obviously the word scourge is the same word as the word "scourge." Mafia is the same word as mafia. In the Day 2 post, two mafia are fighting with each other.
"Camulous backed into a corner which Chronus about to deliver the final blow. Camulous’ eyes went from fear to contempt however, and surged forward past Chronus and slamming into Heros)pink, then quickly slicing his throat."
Camulous, in essence, is the scourge about to get scourged (rather, killed). This again is fairly weak.
I'm not sure if this is of any use to anyone, and, since I skipped the majority of clue analyses from before (since they just obsessed over the picture), I don't know if any of it has been mentioned before. No one has been doing sufficient clue analysis. Please help !

Scaramanga, I'm going to take your word for it. I do hope you're right.
This is what I could find in the Day 4 post.
BC says in the his opening lines that "fear and darkness felt upon the town." This suggests that perhaps a shadow is engulfing the town. Of course, Shadowdrgn's name has the word SHADOW in it. I think we need to revisit that clue, because BC says, "once again." It could be a repetition of clues, or it could just have NO useful clues, so we have to be careful.
Caller..."heard a roar above him." Um. Yeah. That almost speaks for itself. Isn't this something that a dragon would like doing? Roaring a little?
Then immediately after, Kali, "swooped down, slamming into Caller, and smashing his face to the ground, crushing his skull." "Swoop down" tells us that he did not run. It almost seems like he flew down. Dragons can fly. And they're also described in medieval mythology as swooping down to attack. That's almost exactly what's happening here.
I just woke up, so this is what I saw out-of-place in his descriptions at first glance. I'll post more of my thoughts after I eat breakfast. Just so everyone knows, there was a reason I was posting retarded posts before. I'll explain once the game comes to a close and we, green and blue townies, win this game. I'm afraid to post the reason now, though. Please, just trust me that I'm not a mafia, and look back for any figurative language I used early on (it will explain, to the very critical reader, why).
|
I'm revisiting the quote, "fear and darkness fell upon the town." This time I'm looking specifically at the word, "fear." The word, "fear" is most commonly found in JeeJee's public profile, which starts off by saying, "Fear is the strongest driving force in competition." This connection, I think, is incredibly weak, so unless anyone can strengthen it or add any further critical analysis, I'll leave it at that.
I found one other person to whom we can contribute the shadow clues, and that person is more_minerals. His photo is all about lastshadow. It's a hole, but, if Scaramanga is telling the truth, then more_minerals is a townie. The supposed DT references can also lead back to the shadow. In the instance where BC shoots at a hand he sees, he hits a wall. Probably because he's aiming at the shadow of a hand. Furthermore, Camulous in Day 2, "flies out in front of him [him = tensai]." This adds skepticism as to whether ShadowDrgn is mafia.
Also, Camulous, to my knowledge, has only killed with a knife, or, to put it in a broader, perhaps more acceptable, way, he has only killed with a melee weapon. In Day 2, he slices a throat. The rain of punches that end his life is ambiguous. They can be coming from either Chronus, or Camulous, or both. In Day 4, Camulous "drove a knife into Lakrismamma." This seems to be a recurring theme, as has been mentioned above. That makes me think that it's crucial to the identity of that person. Currently, I can only think of midnightgladius. Gladius in Latin means sword. I'd appreciate it if anyone could find a stronger match to Camulous.
Although I'm convinced that ShadowDrgn is mafia, I made sure to look for flaws in my argument, for I recognized that mafia would not do it for me if Shadowdrgn were innocent and would only do it if he were mafia. In the past five hours the only activity I recognize is from the same people. This makes it much tougher to identify who is innocent and who is mafia. If you're a townie, then please contribute something. At this point it's certainly not helping (remember, you win the game if the town wins the game, and not if you're still alive at the end of it).

Oh boy. I really hope you're not screwing with us now. That 5/10 list can be extremely useful for the town.

Can silencer silence himself? And is this before or after the silencer joined mafia? And, just out of curiosity, for whom was the list voting to kill?
We took AttackZerg off that list too prematurely...let's not make that same mistake here again.

It could just be that the people who are yelling to end the game are mafia.
|
You know, Amber, the more you talk the more incriminating you sound. Where is YOUR clue analysis. You're telling us to do it, yet you want no part in it? There can be only two reasons for this. 1. You're mafia. 2. You're a lazy townie who doesn't care. You just repeated almost exactly what has been said in the thread for the past page? Why? I can do the exact same thing? Who can it possibly help the town?
Then you roleclaimed vig. You better hope that you're a vig, because this will come out verrrrrry shortly. If you're not a vig (I'm not suggesting anything with these comments, every one), then you're just digging yourself a deeper grave.
How about you offer some clue analysis? or maybe look back what suggested and label 7 people in the thread as mafia? You have no reason not to now, unless of course, you yourself are mafia?
|
Amber, if you're a vig, kill a mafia. The reason we should have gone with killing Shadow is because we had many strong clues linking him to red. And that would have reduced the mafia's killing power to three. That's crucial. What you did, even if not intentionally, was more than just make us kill someone who was green, but you held a part in the swaying the town not to vote for a mafia (this would have lowered the killing power).
I can't see why the Mad Hatter ought to have any bombs on ShadowDrgn. We suspect he's mafia, right? So why not kill him? It would be much more beneficial and efficient to lynch or vigi him. The longer we let him live the longer their killing power stays up. The same goes for everyone on that DT list.
That's pretty good analysis TruthBringer. I had considered him as a mafia, but the best clues I was able to decipher were insufficient (i.e. only the illusion quote). I think I'll consider him again as a suspect and wait for this upcoming day post.
|
|
I hope you've placed your bombs on the right people. >.>
|
Go ahead Caller. What's the agenda for the town after death? Are there any plans concerning whom we must lynch?
|
Hey BloodyCobbler,
Would you mind if I help you typing up your Day posts? Whenever I read through them, I saw too many grammatical mistakes. I just assumed that they were intentional (because in writing, everything ought to be intentional), but I couldn't make anything out of them. Furthermore, the mistakes with syntax took away from the reading experience, and I could barely understand what you were attempting to articulate. Sometimes you left out verbs, many times you left out prepositions, and all too often you let sentences that ought to have ended just run.
I'm assuming that you would just sit at the keyboard and type (i.e. not edit). That's OK, since clues are there to be found, but an awful post serves not only as a distraction, but also as a tool for inactivity. After I read the very first post of mafia lynchings, I thought to myself, "Oh boy. I will not be able to deal with this. Let's not go inactive, though [hahahaha]."
I'm not trying to bash on you, for you did an excellent job running this game and ensuring that all the day and night posts came within a desired time. The management was great. But I don't know how to put it more delicately: it just seems like you put no time into your writing (and it was a turnoff).
Edit: Also, I think I can make the day posts very enjoyable to read (that is to say make them similar in word choice to my initial posts, though they will have events and actions).
