+ Show Spoiler [Sea] + Perennially on the short list of the world’s best terrans, Sea puts up great but not quite S class results with a consistency unmatched in StarCraft history. If it’s been said once, it’s been said a million times: Sea is definition of Proleague workhorse. Despite never contending for an individual league title, Sea has been the ace player and strongest pillar of MBC for ages and ages now, and in the time I have been following StarCraft has never gone through a slump or bad spell where his team couldn’t count on him to perform up to his usual level. Ever the team player, Sea is the… European Honeybee (Apis mellifera) The success of a bee colony relies on the hard work of the many worker bees, who tirelessly forage for nectar, tend to the queen and larvae, make honey, and defend the nest. The European honeybee is the most popular species among apiarists for both its high levels of honey production and easygoing disposition. Don’t bee (ha) fooled though, each honeybee is fiercely dedicated to protecting the colony, and will not hesitate to plant their large, venomous stinger into any would-be intruders. + Show Spoiler [Calm] + Calm somehow manages to sneak deep into individual leagues despite being off his game far more often than he is on it with a combination of luck, mind games, good preparation, ZvZ, and once in a while letting Calm play instead of Clam. Not always the most threatening player, but historically one of the most likely to make it deep in the tourney, Calm is the… Peppered Moth (Biston betularia) The peppered moth is not a feared hunter or a fast flyer. Rather, the peppered moth is a master of camouflage, earning its name from its distinctive coloration that allows it to blend in perfectly with the light colored trees on which it hides during the day. When the industrial revolution hit in Great Britain, however, the peppered moth faced a dilemma: soot from factories left most of the trees it hid on a solid black. The peppered moth was quick to adapt though, and within a few generations most members of the species sported a much darker coloration to stay hidden against the polluted trunks. As pollution from the industrial revolution has died down, peppered moths of the originally more common color have started to come back. Also, JD was a Japanese giant hornet (dangerous and badass) and HiyA was a firefly (highly entertaining but not much of a threat).

I had to double check that one myself to be sure, but according to TLPD, Stork won his OSL gold on the first of November 2008 while Bisu won the Clubday MSL on the 22nd of November 2008. The two were spaced very near each other in time, and both were in the same season, but Bisu's technically did come a few weeks later.

OSL has the rights to Starleague as they trademarked it. MSL = MBC Starcraft League.
