If you could understand Korean, one glance at FighterForum right now and the following news would catch your eye. Notably one really sad piece of news stands out from the rest. Here's my brief summary.
1) Last week there was an hour long special interview on KBS, the main broadcasting channel of Korea with Boxer (who overcame Yellow and Nal_rA to be last week's FiFo Weekly MVP btw). The feedback is fantastic, everybody congratulates Boxer on a very good job in spreading awareness to the general public of the life of a progamer and its growth as a serious industry in general. He says he felt a lot of pressure and responsibility as an ambassador for progaming, having to cover its entire progression during the interview.
2) KTF MagicNs are again flexing their financial muscle, moving into the biggest housing facilities yet, dubbed "the Magic Camp", inspired by Barcelona Football Club ground "the Nou Camp". Let's just say it's gonna be frickin' massive, including housing for any guests, an exhibition area for all their trophies, office facilities for the management team, locker rooms, lounges as well as a press coverage area.
3) Pantech and Curitel Curriors are now known as Pantch Ex. This is due to the termination of the co-sponsorship by Curitel which means they are solely sponsored by Pantech now. Apparently the name 'Ex' derives from words in English such as excellent, expert, extreme, exciting... -_-;; whatever you want, Nada.
4) SouL have gained a sponsor, they are now known as STX-SouL. It means KOR remain the only team without a sponsor going into the new Proleague season.
4) It's been decided that MinGu, the often overlooked Zerg user of KTF will sign on for the CJ Progaming Team (previously known as GO) Swiftly moving on...
5) And finally the most significant news:
Not long after we said sayonara to HOT, TheMarine announces his retirement. He wishes to carry on as a commentator, and it's likely he will work for the OnGameNet Proleague coverage team.

I thought he was captain all of last proleague but I guess seeing from the interview Yellow took over the last half of the season :S. Now reach takes over from Yellow.
I don't know, theMarine's always played his part for KTF. He's remained consistent in his team play over these years, as well as winning a few decisive games. What springs to my mind most is his win against Max during the 2004 Proleague Play Offs, where he was under immense pressure to keep KTF in the match.

That's really the ONLY good high pressure game I remember him doing well in. I think he was just way beyond my time.
TheMarine has always been one of my favorite players. But honestly I have wondered why he keeps going in the last year or so, he just hasnt been able to qualify for anything: [ Kim Jeong Min fighting~
