honestly, it's the same letter twice so it's easy to type it only once if you're very used to going "g + g + alt q" yeah becouse after you type g you need to leave the game in the very same second, no time to add another G! oh wait Specialy since another "g" is so far away on the keyboard then the previous "g".. Oh wait.. I'd argue that it's easier to miss the key that's at the same spot because the key will stay down and you have to let go for a certain time before you can press it again. 9 months, 12 hours practice of typing gg at the end of each game, and he fails in what, 3 out of 7 games in one night.. move along..
Bang!
No really as much as I know of Idra those were intended "g"s.
As someone mentioned earlier, this bashing isn't because he lost. It is from his bashing of F91, and more or less every other opponent he has been playing for the last 3 years. "F91 played straight up all games and he is the better player", We would never EVER hear that from Idra, but the majority of the player would actually say it.

kinda sad though, i cant stop thinking that mondragon could have really made it into a MSL/OSL if he had just tried ;(

It's happened to me a couple times before, especially after losing a game I wasn't happy about. I would type "g g [enter] alt+q q" really fast, so I might miss the second g, so it ends up being "g [enter] alt+q q" Happened two times, then the last game he just blatently left.. It wasnt a mistake. Yes, that does seem like the best counter argument. Itachii and Samurai- seemed to just want to feed their idra hate with sarcasm. Twice in a row -- pretty indicative of Idra's mental state, even if didn't intend to be BM. I dont hate idra, i could care less for him.. Its the attitude problem, and i dont like someone who tries to play starcraft in korea with pros, calling free a dumb person.. I mean i didnt even notice him until that pathetic remark..

Quote from idra before the game, if yall hadn't heard it before:
"I'm quite confident. Korean Zergs are lightyears ahead of foreigner Zergs, ZvT moreso than any other matchup in the game, I think. TvZ has always been my best matchup as well. I expect to win 6-1 or 5-2, some of the maps are conducive to tricky cheesy builds which he excels at so I could drop a game or two that way. Beyond his general style I don't know much about his play, don't think I've played him since WWI and haven't seen any recent replays of his ZvT.
As for the maps, obviously I'm comfortable on Chupung as I chose it. I think its a very heavily Terran favored map in general, especially TvZ. His choice, Tau Cross, kind of suprised me. It's generally considered balanced as far as I know, although I've always really liked it TvZ, but I would have expected him to choose something very Zerg favored. Raid Assault will be interesting, I think I have a good build for it but I have no solid idea how an unusual Zerg will play on a very unusual map. The other maps are fairly standard, Desti and Medusa are Z>T when playing with Koreans, but mainly because they are very abusable for Muta micro. From what I've seen F91 doesn't have Muta micro comparable to Koreans, though it is quite good by foreigner standards. I'm probably least comfortable on Andromeda and Colosseum, though they are statistically T>Z, just due to unfounded personal preference."
Compare to F91:
"In my opinion I think the maps for this series are fine for me atleast they're not too Terran favoured. We've played each other in Blizzcon 2008 and I lost 1-2. I know he is a really good Terran player but that doesn't mean I have no confidence against him either. In fact, I'm actually really confident against him since I am not in any ways less motivated than him to prove myself in this series. I've been training in Raid Assault 2 recently because this is probably the only map in the entire series which I've played the least in. Hopefully , I can keep my winning streak for this awesome event. Thanks to TL.net and also my sponsors like Steelseries, Cooler Master, MSI and Best Poker last but not least of course my lovely team Fnatic."

i don't see why you guys think it's such a crime to talk shit about your opponent before a match.
honestly that last mondragon interview where he was actually confident and honest about him being a great player was by far his best interview ever.
and i love it in progaming group selections and stuff when the progamers talk shit about each other. it spices it up.
do you guys really want boring lip service interviews?
oh and btw congrats to f91 you played great. now i want to see nony in a liquibition as soon as things can come together for it.
i was really happy tl organized this event and was able to get idra to play. was fun

I think its funny F91 didnt even cheese in the games after he had gone up 4-0, although i don't think he was playing at his full ability then. Looked much better with lings rather than hydras.

I always have high hopes for Idra, such as TSL and WCG USA, and tend to get let down. I'm starting to get used to it. I did honestly think he would "at least" go 50/50 win loss ratio today after all his time in CJ plus it supposedly being his best match up. F91 just seemed to have a far superior star sense, knowing when to attack, where to snipe Idra's small "suicidal" m&m armies or dropships, great counter/harass timing, and a good mixup of builds designed to keep a player like Idra off his game.
But still, I was surprised to see Idra do so many lethal mistakes, he was almost playing suicidal at times (such as letting lurk/ling or muta/ling level his main while he tried to take out 3 sunkened expo's with a group or 2 of m&m, which would have saved his main easily). I think he just psyches himself out, and panics into doing stupid things, but who knows. I hope this little event doesn't negatively affect his mindset and I wish him the best over there.
I am looking forward to seeing more of F91 though. I just love his style, reminds me of the aggressive hungry Zerg's of old with a modern twist. Congrats F91!! and thanks to the TL staff for doing this, made my Saturday morning hangover much more bearable. :p

Wait...you're talking about respecting people who are much better at the game in a thread full of people saying "IDRA SUCKS"? On a website where A-team progamers are often called "shitty" or "bad" by C level ICCup players in LR threads? Give me a break. Of all the things you could rip him for..

I mean, he called FREE a dumb noob who cant micro.. just lol That's exactly what I'm saying, you're clouded with idra hate. Understandable though. All I'm saying is "g" might have been a legitimate mistake. Its not a mistake if you do it twice in a row and not type anything in your last game. Idra sucked, got raped, probably cried that last game coz he knew his career as starcraft wannabie pro is over and ALT+F4. Which in any case does not justify his reactions. Who's fault is it that he is such a big noob, who spends 12 hours a day practicing the game!>?

You realize it's the same person. -_-
I still don't get how many ppl are absolutely convinced that Idra did it on purpose. I'm not defending his BM. I'm saying we can't really know if he BM, especially since I've played a lot of games and mistakenly typed "g" instead of "gg" without meaning BM.

I think loser goes with $25 anyways, and each game is worth $25 ==> 2 wins = $75
