Embedded didn't work for me but VLC and windows media player worked fine =)

What is the difference between watching TSL over the website's embedded player and an external player? I watched it with VLC and was quite satisfied with it. Despite some stream crashes/moments of being offline, I did not encounter any problems with buffering.
The last poll should not have "did not encounter problems" as a reply option.

The embedded player has caused issues for some people, I'm just trying to guage how many people had issues with it. WMP, VLC and the embedded player all connect to the same stream, it's just an issue with whether it works.
"Did not encounter problems" was added since people love to vote and would have picked "Instructions were fine" otherwise .

I used VLC, simply because I prefer using an external player over watching something in a browser.
I did also try out the embedded player though. Didn't have any problems at all with either VLC nor the embedded player.

Watched with vlc to get fullscreen. Besides the stream crashes for everyone i didn't encounter any problems. Good work.

I get the feeling that most people complaining "No video! Only sound" don't have their screen maximized. That was sort of a problem when the first TL-Attack episode was aired, and I think it might have carried over into this event. As for me, I had absolutely no problems with the stream. No lag, and everything loaded (But my internet deserted me twice -- once when brat_ok bunker rushed haypro >.<).

Just to try to expand your datapoints a bit beyond what's in the polls, the embedded player didn't appear to load for me in Firefox on Mac OS 10.4. I got a blank white square where it appeared it was supposed to be. The IRC applet loaded, but I never saw any content in it, so I'm not sure it was really working right. Also, the page itself seemed to lag horribly - I could barely scroll up and down in it, and switching in or out of that tab took much longer than normal.
VLC worked fine, except when Kennigit fubar'd the stream.

Dunno but I didn't see a fullscreen option on the embedded player.. That's why I chose VLC which worked flawless! Couldn't try GOM since I'm on mac but the embedded player worked perfect the little I watched on it. GJ! :>

Hmm I also Firefox but on Max OS 10.5.2 and embedded worked.

The fullscreen technique should probably be more obvious. To get fullscreen, right click, zoom, fullscreen on the embedded player. We'll include info on how to do that on the website. Even when it's not fullscreen, the player should still display video fine.

I couldn't watch the stream cause it kept buffering. watching like that wasn't fun. so I downloaded the vods from the tracker.

Watched with the embedded player first, then switched over to VLC. No problems with either, stream incredibly smooth, didn't buffer once.

I got audio, but no video using firefox. Video wouldn't play on IE. Using VLC player solved this. Everything else was perfect. Slight lag every now and then, but not bothersome.

I used WMP11 everything was pretty flawless i just dont like embedded becuase i want to watch it a bit bigger but not full screen so i can chat with my friends while we watch

I prefer external players. My computer is to slow and having a website open while watching will add lag
