Nothing is wrong per se, but it usually means that you don't learn very much from the interview. This interview was better, because Mondragon was explaining his loss, rather than downplaying a win.

I'm getting more and more respect for this guy. He seems very down to earth but he's not just saying what people wants to hear. And then his SC intelligence seems pretty high.. Hell, I'll go propose to him. BRB

IMO a Protoss that slightly beats a zerg is a competely superior players just because of what it requires of protoss to beat zerg. There are so many openings against Protoss while Zerg a lot less. Dreiven played perfect and was the better player by far.

Dinot is also a whiner even though he pass the ro16 cuz to the question why he played on that map Hydra Allin he answered that he didnt won a standart one in the practice games. /ironic mode off Dreiven won 2:0 so whats the problem when Mondi points out his doubts on ONE map? There is no questioning about Dreivens win at all. How often he has to point out that he played impressive? There is just a questioning about the first map which was not a decider map. Should he share his thoughts now or not? There is an argumenation behind this, people can apply to this and atleast I can understand arguments of him during you are just claiming things.

I'd agree had you said that in order for a P to beat a Z, the P has to have superior play in that particular game. However, players have good days and bad days so you can't judge superiority on one result. Also, in fairness, to say someone is a completely superior player, you'd have to look at all of that player's matchups to get a good comparison. A pvz specialist could beat a well-rounded zerg player (or even a zvt specialist) and not be the superior player overall. (Although, a little off topic, when people talk about Protoss being the easiest race... I think what's neglected is the fact that over the long run zvp has had a higher winrate than pvt or tvz. They require the least APM making them mechanically the easiest, but they have the steepest uphill battle of a matchup which is probably why P has won fewer starleagues than T and Z.) Dreiven was certainly the superior player last weekend, though. He played very close to perfection particularly in game 2 - really, had he made even one mistake on any one of those drops, he would have lost the entire game. Surely anyone playing at that extreme of a high level would win in a matchup of foreigners, regardless of the races.
