Yep. Another map.
I'm bored without the beta, too D:
But anyway, here she is:
The map is called "Subterfuge." The basic concept behind the map is to allow for multiple routes to several bases while maintaining a non-retarded expansion pattern. The terrain around the main is intended to make cliff-hopping (stalkers, reapers, colossi, etc) harassment difficult but not impossible. The natural is intended to be harass-able but easily defended. The mineral-only expansion is the safest place to take a third, but gives only minerals (durrr). The middle is relatively wide, with large chokes at either end. Control of the watch towers can be key, as they can alert you to an opponent trying to be sneaky (hence the map's name!).
There are essentially five expansions: the main, the natural, the third full expansion, the high-yield expansion, and a minerals-only expansion and a gas-only expansion. The min/gas-only expos are split apart. The gas-only expansions are close to the main but have no real choke, which combined with the destructible rocks will prevent taking the gas-only expansion too early. Additionally, the geysers at the gas-only expansion have only 1800 total gas (as opposed to the normal 2500).
As with all maps, balance suggestions are more than welcome.

What is the spawn position actually? Top right from "Bird's Eye View (except sideways)" ?
I think the 2 expansions above the gold in that picture could aswell be one expansion. It seems like it is a bit easy to defend the expo's especially with there being a watchtower (if i got that right) there.
Kinda hard to see when you post an incomplete map :p
But otherwise it looks nice!

Yes, sorry, forgot to mention that. It's in the top right in relation to the minimap (so top left on the sideways bird's-eye view). I'll be editing the post to mention starting locations now.
Yep, that's a watch-tower there in the middle-ish pond thing. I'll be editing to label that as well. I'll also be labeling ramps and stuff to make it a little more coherent.
Yeah, you're right, but the other (super secret) reason I'm posting this now is that I'll probably forget when I finish it. This way I will actually remember
EDIT: Nevermind about the labels (except the starting location) 'cos Morrow told me how to export images! Hooray!

in there u choose ur path and name of the image file it creates u also choose the size of the image, its super easy^^

A heads up from a fellow map maker, if you are making your ramp/choke at the base and you want it to be the same size as in the blizzard maps, it HAS to be diagonal to the grid. a single width ramp that goes with the grid is too small and a double too large.
