I dig this map a lot
EDIT* I sortof like the rocks in the middlle, I bet any money it will add an interesting dynamic to this map without being too contrast to unit or timing balance
I really love the aesthetics. The contrast between the grey and the center is pretty sweet.

Well, you don't want to attack through that point because defending that should be easy, but there is enough room to move around to make it okay. If it was the only movement path it would had been bad , but its not. To me its just a choke in the middle off the map that connect the top to the bottom, that does not make it imbalanced.
