Important: Turn your SC2 sound up and turn your graphics up as high as your PC can handle
This map is a little cinematic art piece that I created as part of my break from serious mapping. Further description and/or screenshots would be kind of redunant and spoil it.
QUOTES FROM REVIEWERS:
"If I hadnt known any better, I would have thought this was a real movie advertisement made by the big movie production companies" - Puffball
"The best piece of animation in sc" - AngryBane
"The excellent delivery of a scene straight out of Godzilla with lighting, prop-placement, sound and a jaw-dropping actual animated model of Godzilla makes this a more memorable work than most maps on the Arcade. 10 seconds well spend." - TheLostAzn
"Short is very true, but nice work" - EternalLight
"10/10 would want to watch it again!" - KindleBee
"Amazing sound and animation, alot of work seems to have gone into this." - SSPanzer
Got really lazy and didn't want to start sc2 just to watch it (consider recording a video if u want more potential views?) But I saw everyone saying it was incredible so i did
Wow, i watched on medium ish graphics and it looked great ;O
Rewatched on Ultra, WOW!
You got some talent! Even the design of the text/coloring etc is really sharp and eye catching (and clear!)
I know that it might be more convenient for some people to just upload it to youtube, but to be honest I made this to be viewed on the Arcade. One of the cool things about this is that it is rendered in real time without any post-production work, its all in SC2, and that would kinda get lost on just a YT video.

Well, the way this thing came to be is a weird story. Basically, what I did, mostly out of boredom, was I rigged and slopply animated this Godzilla model and put it into SC2 and tried to recreate the feeling of the new Godzilla movie. That little set piece actually turned out so freaking well that it was kind of mindblowing and I knew I had to show this to people somehow. The original plan was to make a Godzilla map that kind of plays like Island Defense, the time for which I would take from a break from working on a much larger project of mine. Well, it turned out that I wasnt all that hyped about that idea afterall and a few weeks just wouldnt be enough time to create a complete map like that, so I scrapped that idea.
Still, the set piece looked so impressive that I knew I had to put something out there, people had to see this. So on a spontanous idea, I decided to create this little art piece. So what I did was I further improved the rigging on Godzilla and created a proper cinematic animation for him aswell as polishing up the original set piece and building this short little cinematic around it.
However, I have other map projects in the works which will have a visual quality that is just as impressive as this art piece, if not even more so.

Theres one map you might want to check out from me, which is "MOTD: Psionic Warfare". Its a third person shooter map that also has a very much advanced visual fidelity (for SC2 standards). However, you may or may not want to wait a month before getting into it, as I will release a new addon for it in a month that will not only add a large amout of new content, but also makes it alot more polished and accessible. At the moment, the map is absolutely relentless when it comes to beginners. However, there is an indepth ingame tutorial, so if you carefully read that, you should be able to hold your own atleast for a bit.
