This is not my first map, but its the one I'll allow others to see, (my others are terrible.) I wanted to create a Mech friendly map, and have a unique layout without borrowing other themes or setups from other designs.
I would like some advice on the layout before I go completely mad with the textures/doodads if I havent already (:

On my tests vs A.I. I found zerg too easy with the third unblocked, and put in a few more choke points, but I'd love to play with people If you wouldnt mind helping. Or just give suggestions. Should I just start a new map?

lol, start over? Na, this seems ok I like it, just the shapes seem to squareish 2 me, like 2 many straight lines, doesnt seem natural imo.

Make the ramp to the main larger and add destructible rocks so you can still wall off early game, but it is still breakable, also i think that the rocks are unnecessary, when certain match-ups play out certain ways zerg just needs the fast third, and also it will really hinder creep spreading, but not bad for a first map

Everything that has to do with the 3rd to the 4/5th is just so awkward, the narrowed corridor with the middle highground next to it and in general blink stalker/tank play can be utilized on the entire side.(from start loc 1 view) In my opinion, you should just widen the highground next to the watch tower to cover where the corridor was (but not to close as to still being able to blink or siege) and put a ramp pointing at the 3rd. Since all that space is covered, lowerground the terrain next to the "S" a bit so blink stalkers don't have 3 entries but instead 2, and you didn't have to lose that much playable surface. Btw you should also increase your map bounds so your bases don't squish against the side, not very pretty. I love the architecture in the middle though.
