can you hit the mineral lines from the little nooks behind the third? as a zerg player i'd be really concerned about tank drops since you are forced into taking the side base and you added the nooks. but i imagine you designed it aggressively on purpose? | ||

The high ground above the third, for example, is presumably unpath-able? Can seige tanks reach both the gold and third base mineral lines from the opposite side of the cliff? Actually looks like colossi could clip the third's min lines. I don't see the problem with siege tanks being able to clip the third's mineral line unless he has a favourable counter clockwise spawn. If he can get tanks through the middle of the map and into that sort of position he should be able to deny 2-4 mineral patches. If you recall the game where KT's TY denied a few patches in a proleague match from a zerg on Yeonsu then you recall just about the only time a pro player decided that it's appropriate to build tanks for an attack. He also needed 2 medivacs and needed to devote 3 SCVs, a few marines and even build turrets to make it work, even with a 2000health, 3 sheild wall protecting it. Had he not been able to reach a gas as well the attack might not have been worth it. | ||

my recommended change to help make an easier third (tbh there is no easy way. the way you designed your map makes no standard 3rd positioning.) http://gyazo.com/128c7fe7274a0f911bd8214ccdf9ce43 by moving your 3rd base closer to your natural, makes reinforcing easier. then open up the path way near the naturals. you can also make that new path destructible rocks to make it more strategical. | ||

Those gold mineral lines actually look pretty safe to me. You can poke with siege tanks or colossi, but I think that's fine... | ||
