Please make the mains highground, then this map becomes really good

And rename the map to Idra. Because why not? That's what I thought I saw when I clicked on it from the sidebar.

Fantastic map. Love the creativity. I agree with Plexa that a highground main would be nice, but it would also encourage 1-basing. One reason I like the flat main is so that expanding is encouraged. 2 gates+zealot to wall between the ramps seems pretty generous but maybe its fine with the paths + air vulnerability.

Wouldn't blink and warp-ins into the main from the natural/third be pretty broken? Probably all sorts of strong siege tank plays as well. Especially the 3 mirrors might be annoying as fuck for the one or other reason. (ZvZ ling/bane all day, uaarg)
I like the idea, it's a very interesting concept.

the few interesting points it have is also where the problems kick in, doesn't look very solid.

I could make a version of the map with mains on the high ground (It was something I considered while making the map). I can then show you the 2 Mains options, make a poll and let you guys decide what is better. Make map name Idra? .. such a BM player that I did not like, I prefer to change the name to something different than give that guy a shout out. (Map name was not a ruse to trick you guys, I can change it if it's a problem) Thanks monitor glad you like the map !

Very interesting. Is it possible for this to go beyond 3 base? Idk, 4ths look dicey to take. But concept is still cool

Hey man, cool map! I love the layout and how it's 4 layers of rocks for cheese, which discourages it, while it's better for expansion since it's only 2 rocks. I like how you tried to do the BW twilight texturing with the tiles too.

Ok, so some think mains would be better if they were high ground, and some think they are better flat (the way they are). I have made a new version of the map that has high ground mains:

So, I'm adding a poll 2 decide what version of the map is better.
(MAKE SURE TO VOTE ON THE MAIN THREAD)!
Whichever option gets more votes wins, and I will doodad up and finish that version. The voting time will be about 1 week long. If not enough people vote, I will decide what version of the map will get finished.

I would like the low-ground mains... if it worked. Since HotS, map design has had to be build around keeping blink all-ins from dominating. The original looks like there are just too many angles that could be hit by stalkers, with or without vision. Conversely, zergling harass or medivac pushes will gain very little from a low ground main.

I appreciate you want to push development of the game, but flat chokes are simply a nightmare to deal with. If this were submitted to a TLMC we'd ask you to change it for the sake of not breaking the game. The map already has a lot of interesting features, it doesn't need to try an innovate in another way. The main issues come in the form of PvP, TvZ (bunkers) and cannon rushes. Until LotV is worked out more, I would keep the mains high ground until same height is proven to be viable.

Flat, but with the antiblink stuff between main and naturals fron the other version. Especially for LotV.

It feels really easy to take three bases. Perhaps a ramp from one of the thirds into the fourth lowground bases would add for more map flow?
