The concept was to use rock towers on high ground to deny and destroy mining and gas areas. The closer expansions don't suffer much from a rock slide, but the farther out expansions are punished more heavily. To compensate for a devastating blow, 2 of the far expansions use Rich Mineral Fields and Rich Vespene Geysers, so if you lose half of your base, you will not be down by half that base's income. The 6 high risk areas have 1 Xel'Naga Watch Tower each right behind the mineral field in order to give high ground vision to prevent a potential catastrophe. Playable Size: 134x122 20 Rock Towers 8 Xel'Naga Watch Towers (4 are destructible) Thanks to -NegativeZero- for helping me resolve my problem. This is a rather bare-bones map, since I only had 5 hours to work on it. I don't expect it to be a popular map. I was more focused on seeing if the concept would work. I also didn't have much time to test it beyond overcoming the bug I had. Oh, just ignore the 2s, I wanted to try to blend 2 texture sets (since it's a new thing to do), and apparently it shows when taking the overhead shot. | ||
