Verdant Terraces (1.5)
Another map in a series of maps made in an attempt to learn the fundamentals of SC2 mapmaking! Any and all feedback is appreciated.

*If anyone has any advice for producing those fantastically dense doodad fields on the edges of the maps (i.e. look around the edges of orbital shipyard or prion terraces) I would greatly appreciate it. [Got some good tips! Will add them to the map today. ]

Best way to figure out how a map has a certain feature is to download that map. It's actually one of the best ways to learn in general. You do through it the editor, select the battle.net tab in the open file window, and search for any map you want by name.

Sad to say that that was something I forgot to think of. Probably going to spend a few hours on some good maps to learn how to doodad.

Creating dense outsides is literally finding doodads you like and putting them together. If you need to figure out how to put them in the air you can use the page up/page down keys or changing the height property (8 is the default base height for reference). In this instance, since you're using the Aiur City tileset, you should look into the "Aiur City" prefix in Dooads.
