I agree with algue. At it's most simple, maps have reached quite a high level nowadays, and to stand out a map needs either concept (non-standardness) or execution (or better yet both). If a map is very close to standard with only a small twist, the execution really needs to be pristine. A map that is more non-standard gets a bit more leeway on execution, since execution is harder to evaluate for the non-standard. To take Zweck's maps as examples, Lost and Found is quite close to the standard end of the spectrum, but the execution is very strong, which is why it's a good map. Meanwhile Shamrock Fane also stands out to me as a pretty good map mostly due to its more non-standard concept. Aquatica is a pretty standard map, and I don't think the execution is flawless enough to make it stand out. Most of this stuff is super nitpicky, but I don't think the rocks blocking the narrow passage right in the middle will be used, since there are wider passages very close to either side; I don't think the twined collapsible rock towers will be as impactful defensively as they need to be; this map is creep-spread paradise which has balance implications; there's lots of very good 2-base tank positions (across the collapsible rocks at the vertical third, behind the close third mineral line right beside the main) which combined with the previous point just makes worse the tendencies of TvZ of being a game of terran trying to kill the zerg before they get to the late game (can you hit the natural gas with a siege tank from the low ground by the way?); the corners of the map are just rather lame. These mostly aren't big things, but I think it's enough to not make the map not stand out among the field of quite good quite standard maps.

It would probably still make at least top 5 in a TLMC.
