Is it a bad thing to use the select army hotkey? When playing Zerg I am in the habit of adding my eggs in the applicable CG and rarely use it, but when playing T & P I find the Select army very useful for the new units that came out recently when I want to reinforce quickly (and adding them to CGs).
Why don't they (other players) use it?
It's a good thing that every player should be using. There are many games where you will see players misrally units so they are just sitting somewhere useless, and the army hotkey would fix this. You don't necessarily have to add the units to a control group, but its a good way to group all your units together without much effort and time.

The main reason you do not use the select army hotkey is that you often do not want to have your entire army in the same area : for instance, as terran you want to drop, using this hotkey breaks it. Also, you might have a marine/ling/zealot at a XelNaga tower, or placed on an ennemy attack path that you'd like to stay there (or a zealot in your wall to prevent zergling runby).
Moreover, having everything in the same control group is bad if you use several energy/micro units : having ghosts and infantry in the same control group might have you missing some critical stim.
The use of it is when you have difficulties to multicast, which happens in lower leagues or as a distress measure when everything is falling apart and you do not know where your units are anymore (also sometimes, it helps finding those pesky observors that are observing something else as what they should do, or as a terran to collect all your mines for the final push).

I play as a terran.
Darglein's Multitasking Trainer is the perfect answer for you. You should begin with unselecting everything but task 1 and 2, afterwards you can theoretically push yourself to up to 9 tasks "at once".(take your time) It will definitely help you get fast efficient apm and it's fun^^. The map should be self explanatory. Anyways there is a help button for each task and if you want to see it played by the programmer itself look the map name up on youtube, darglein did a short video there.
Generally knowing what to do increases your apm by alot which includes reflexes like micro. For specific micro I can also recommend his micro trainer: Darglein's Micro Trainer
I have a question regarding the zerg balance plans: Weren't they talking about nerfing the spore crawler damage and buffing hydra damage against bio-air? What happened to those ideas? Looks like I haven't caught it.
Pretty much, the strong consensus between all the Koreans (and a few foreigners) was that Swarm Hosts were just not a problem at all, and the Jaedong vs. Stephano matches were outliers in the so-called ZvZ "stalemate" scenario. This was another typical kneejerk reaction by Blizzard, much like the current mine buff that's going through right now (which we're releasing another one of these articles to hopefully kill it).

My average apm increased from 50 to 80-90, Is that good enough ?. I've seen people with 150+ and that is kinda intimidating..
Thanks in advance.
You can get to Masters with 50-90 apm easily. My biggest advice is just to focus on your build and plan and execute everything with perfection. If you do that you will get Masters in no time. Strategy will come, but get your macro skills down and you will be fine.

What are some good maps to practice my macro?.
To be honest I do not know, I personally do not like macro maps. I found personally (and this is purely subjective) that the macro maps provided me with zero increase in macro skill. To improve I watched two or three replays and watched out for some major macro flaws (supply blocks, missed injects, not constantly building scv/probe/units), once I had spotted one (for me it was injects) I decided I would focus all attention on that one thing. If my strategies and army micro suffered that is completely fine but I would do everything in my power to nail that one thing. After EVERY match I would watch the replay and just sit there and watch to see when I missed injects and what caused me to miss it. After I felt like my injects were starting to get really good I added something else (for me it was building overlords). I would watch every replay and see how many times I got supply blocked and how many injects I missed.
This did several things for me; forced me to focus on my macro, become more critical of my own play and stop blaming losses on silly things, be less upset over losses and have an overall better ladder experience.
This isn't really strategy, but I'm also not sure where to post this question:
Does anyone else's hands and feet get cold when playing? I'm fine in my room normally, and recently decided to start laddering again, where I started having this problem.

Just make sure the body is warm, and your hands and feet will stay warm .
If you're having excessive trouble with this while playing, just take a break every few games to do some pushups or squats/jumping jacks, and that should help you to warm up.

GL HF!
Thank you. I do the same when i lose against better players. I save replay and i see what they do. And it helped me a lot. But i feel my macro could be much better than this and i still look for ways to improve.
One more thing:
What's the best way to counter zerrling rush?. They attack in min 3 or so and sometimes i cant stop it in 4vs4

6pool? Just pull your SCVs and keep your first two marines alive. You actually have to lose ~10 SCVs to be considered equal to your opponent, and in reality, you should be able to hold with 5 or less SCV losses. Also, consider drone stacking micro:
I am having trouble with my medivac load micro. I don't think I understand how I am supposed to be doing it. I had medium size bio ball pushing the protoss naturnal. I get ff and army cut in half and he reveals he has a colossus but almost no stalkers. I want to load up the chunk of my army that is stuck on the bad side of the ff. I box the units and spam click them into the medivacs. They end up spinning in circles and 1 unit out of about 15 gets in and they all die. I see pros doing quick pickups in situations like that without their units acting stupid. How do I properly go about loading units into the medivacs?

Move your medivacs above your units first and then click them into it. They wont start running towards the opponent trying to find a way around then.
