Hey. When do you/pros do watch minimap? I have heard the advice to glance at the minimap+supply whenever I train or build something a lot, but when I do this, I'm not doing the next action, because I'm watching minimap. Now, is it that I should watch minimap less often? Or that I should train myself to gather all the information in less time? Last idea is, should I watch minimap with just peripheral vision, or, similarly, watch what I'm going to do next with just peripheral vision? Thanks for help.

The way day9 explained this is that you should get into the habit of cycling through the views. Check army, check production, check minerals/gas, check supply, check minimap. This should only take a second. Just cycle through this every time you can. Just finished a battle? Check production, check supply, check minimap. I don't remember which video this is, but I think it's one of the highlighted ones.

Ok, I'll watch that one. Thanks!

tbh i think you should look at the minimap as often as you possibly can without delaying your macro mechanics. it's just a skill you have to train, like injecting while microing or any other multitask. the faster you get at multitasking the more time you can spend looking at the minimap. it's one of those things that's more about processing information than physical speed

What is the earliest time a Terran opening with a normal Reaper FE (say, Reaper at 15 before Orbital) can get the first Reaper into the opponent's base?

Today, the english casters for proleague explained CJ Hero's mistake of making a carrier by the proximity of the carrier hotkey to the intended unit hotkey (voidray)
I often tought they refered to korean keyboards, and they happenned to be close, just like on english keyboards. But this has happenned enough time for me to ask:
Do koreans play starcraft on english alphabet keyboards ? Why don't they have keyboards in their own alphabet, with the hotkeys refering to the name of that unit in korean ?

Just starting back after a year and a half out. Was low diamond Terran before I quit.
Can someone provide me with 3 basic BOs for each matchup just so I can practice then in unranked? I can;t remember anything...

That would be the worlds biggest keyboard. Koreans like the Japanese (and I believe all asian languages at this point) have an englishfied version of their language that works fine on any latin keyboards. Koreans aren't the worst offender in this regard (try picturing a Chinese (mandarin) keyboard..), but its still just way easier to use a regular english keyboard.

Do we know the keybinds of many pros ? What proportion of them use the default layout, or with only smalll changes ?

Why do my workers, after obediently being double-stacked for a few seconds, become suddenly rebellious and decide to go mine another patch without any apparent interference? What can I do to prevent this?

Because fuck probes (they are somehow worse at this than drones and scvs). You can't really do anything about it except babysit them.

Just like a protoss to think they are at a handicap.

How do you move scvs into bunkers when the bunker is damaged since scvs want to repair rather than move in? The move hotkey is too far away for me to press.

select bunker and right click scv

After some testing I figured it out - click on bunker, then right click on scv.
