On the first map of the final of the IEM Toronto we saw Zest going for a 3 Colossi push at around the 10 minutes mark against Flash.
Here is the rough BO according to the replay and VOD: + Show Spoiler + 20 Nexus 20 MC 22 Gas, Pylon, Stalker, Warpgate 28 Robo 34 Sentry 35 Pylon 37 2 x Gas at natural 39 Robobay 47 Immortal (chronoboost) 57 Colossus (chronobosst on all colossi), thermal lance
Stop probe production. Zest has fully saturated main and 6 in gas at natural and 12 mining minerals.
57 Pylon, 3 x gate 57 Sentry 59 Colossus 59 Pylon (between your base and the enemy's base) 65 2x Gate, Pylon (proxy) 65 Sentry 67 Colossus 67 Pylon
Warp in 5 stalkers and 2 sentries.
Attack at around 10 minute mark with 1 Immortal, 3 Colossi (one on the way to your army), 6 Stalkers, 5 Sentrys, 1 Core
Do you think this build is useable on every map or is it just zest exploiting his friend and practice partner flash?

If you catch the terran of position, or he didin't scout correctly, you can straight up win. but agasint mine play, or early stim pushes you could die easy

its more of a build you throw into a BoX series, it should be used against a player who rarely goes builds never_Nal said

2base colossus timings are some of the oldest PvT builds there is. There really isn't much to say about it, it's a standard all-in that's always been very viable.

Zest lost with this build even though it was scouted late. It probably isn't the best thing to emulate.

3 colossus, 1 immortal at 10 minutes is pretty strong. Terrans usually dont have both medivacs and vikings out in time to stop it. Flash was just too good, Zest didnt play bad.

It's one of the most common builds, maybe not exactly how Zest did it but 2 Base Colossus All-Ins in general. Protoss hopes Terran doesn't scout it, as Terran you usually just die to it if you don't have Bunkers, even if you don't go for a third base at all. Bunkers and fast than usual Vikings will defend the build pretty well.

squirtle went through a whole tournament (ipl 5) and got 2nd, playing pretty much only this build pvt- might be worth watching

that's ridiculous, you will know if its mine before committing to this. And early stim pushes hit at 8:30, at which point zest already had a col, an immortal and 2 sentries + time warp/PO or both. I might even go as far to say this build hard counters stim pushes because their stim push wont do anything & their medivacs wont be out until 30 seconds after you hit them.

vs flash... anything someone like zest does in a match is something good to emulate.
I'm confident if you execute this properly you can have a 90% winrate on players up until mid GM at which point you'll have to have exceptional micro ;p

Where is the VOD? Zest played against Flash few times.
