Hi everyone, I need some help analyzing this replay. I thought I did a fairly nice job this game with the early 13 drone kills, recognizing the 1-1 speed roach timing and preparing accordingly, but then my opponent saw I had defense prepared and just didn't make roaches and instead droned up and went up to roach/hydra. It seems odd to say but his roach/hydra was more mobile than my bio force.
I know landing my 3rd was fairly late, but I don't think I could have done it sooner with the 1-1 speed roach timing looming. Should I have taken the other 3rd? But those back rocks..... I noticed my gas was floating quite a bit at the end there so maybe I needed to pull guys out of gas earlier and/or get more tech labs for marauders instead of reactors for marines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You stop worker production around the 9:00 mark, and never completely start back up again except for a few workers here and there. You spent most of the game at 56 workers when you should have at least 70.
Worker count > everything else
Your gas and consequently your starport were late so you didn't ever have enough medivacs, and your 4th should've been down a lot earlier. You moved down to your third too late, but it's a minor issue for a game of that length. When you go for 3 fast CCs, but you don't think you can move out because you're expecting an attack, you should be oversaturating your main and natural in the meantime, so you can transfer workers when you finally can safely expand.

I thought you were supposed to stop scv production when an all in was coming and instead focus on army and defense? I don't know that I would have been able to build all those bunkers if I kept building scvs.

If you're low on minerals, which you weren't, then yes, but it's only a very brief delay to get those bunkers up. You only built 7 additional workers for the rest of the game.

Hey I'm Master Terran and here's a few things I saw
1. Yes you got 13 drone kills w/ hellions, but you lost all your hellions. In my opinion you never want to lose hellions because it's better to have them for a push later. If you notice, he gets a worker lead back pretty quick anyway.
2. You have a lot of macro slippage from ~9:00-12:00.
3. You don't pressure around 9:00-12:00. I think you should get second gas earlier and when you lift your factory you should build a starport on the reactor while adding reactors on your barracks and addding an armory for the hellions (hellbats) that you would have kept alive, then pump out units and push off of 3 rax (while you push you can add rax 4 + 5, gas 3 +4).
4. I know what I said in #3 seems off because you thought he was gonna do a 1/1 roach push, however you scouted his third, it didn't come by like 10 minutes and you could have scanned his 3rd to see drone count. Plus you had bunkers at home so you could have taken some map position just to see where roaches were? Even just sending a few marines out around the map would have showed you that no push was coming.
5. You have the wrong unit composition against roach/hydra. He got infestors really early on so the widow mines worked for defense at first because he lacked some damage output, however you should not be going widow mines vs that composition. Against roach hydra, take gas 5 + 6 at your third (or maybe just 5 depends on what you need I guess with upgrades and such) and focus on tank and marauder production. Based on what you did maybe something like 7 rax, 3 tech labs and 3 factories all with tech labs. If he switches to mutas, just start making thors and marines.
6. You didn't really put the pressure on him all game, but that really goes back to the lack of tanks I guess. if you don't put pressure on zerg he's going to win no doubt.
7. SCV count was a little too low, try to get around 65
8. More medivacs
In summary, I know I said a lot here but I really think if you had the right unit composition you could probably beat him. Considering TvZ usually revolves around denying Zerg's 4th base and looking at how he took his 4th VERY close to your 3rd it would have been really easy for you to push with tanks to his 4th while being in a defensive enough position to defend your own 3rd. Even if he took the 4th base by his main rocks, you could have had a real easy time taking the watchower to the south and pushing his third with tanks.
Hope that helps
