As for pvz i'm glad hydras and banes are not that scary as i thought. But my 2-base allins definetely became worse (if even viable) with 7 range hydras. Well, anyways, macro is the way.

If I was able to harass enough to get to 3 base I had a good chance to win. Now Zerg just crawl up with 200 supply hydra ling and the game is over.... It's pretty broken to me. Even if you get very fast Colossi and micro your best with force-fields it's almost impossible to hold a 3rd since you most likely won't even have colossi rang.... no matter how good your harass was as long as it was not game ending, I lost to every game I played the last couple days against zerg.... If you go for disrupters it's even worse... Either you hit your 2 balls because zerg doesn't move at all or you auto lose the game. I guess I won't even touch starcraft anymore until they find a real balance... I really wish I could just keep playing HotS instead of this LotV cluster f.... There are so many things I dislike right now in LotV it's just awful. and I have way over 6k games played always as master overall. Very few in LotV thought it's just no fun as a player anymore. Seems like the only way to win is carrier rush against a good zerg right now... Every other build simply gets crushed on high levels.

It's just balance. I mean what is the point of making adepts anymore?

Even if you manage to somehow counter pure hudra, there are still mass-ravager/banelings threat. Not like it was easy before the patch, but now it's just ridiculous. What am i supposed to do on the ground? There are literally 0 options left. It was a period when dt/archon-prism build worked really well, but now they adapted. Plus with adepts threat reduced to nothing, there is NO other build that meant to harras into macro. Every zerg knows that and counter it perfectly. If you think about it, zerg is ridiculously overpowered now. Queens and hydra range? It is really supposed to work that way? Super safe early game/super strong mid/late game comps. I tried air and it worked pretty fine but air is boring. you can try doing what PiG is experimenting with. I've had some medium to good success with it, and I'm just replicating the composition he's using, not even the actual build. Also, it's definitely possible to just improve your mechanics, macro, and multitasking. Taking the defeatist attitude won't help your game. The only thing you can do is improve your gameplay-you can't change how blizzard or the game is going to be designed.

Disruptors are pretty freaking good against slow armies like mech. Even better if he dares to make mines. With immortals your army is too clunky and getting in range of anything means 70 damage tank shots. You can do fine with a mix of stalkers, disruptors, oracles and HTs. As your composition gets more and more expensive you probably won't be able to afford stalkers anymore so chargelots replace them. Composition all depends on what kind of mech you're facing, no need for HTs if no ravens/banshees. Obviously this requires an insane amount of micro, forcing the mech player to reposition all the time, but the guy literally can't push out because of disruptors so it's fine if your macro slips up more than usual. Revelation is key even without tempests because it makes your opponents insecure and less likely to move out, while allowing you to attack where his defense is weakest. It also means if he tries to reposition to defend, you can immediatly punish him with disruptors and feedbacks/storms. The goal lategame used to be tempest revelation storm disruptor, but with 6 supply and 8 ground range, i'm not sure they are worth the investment anymore. Now i think you should only make 6 tempests if liberators, and not mass them blindly. As always though vs mech, never sit at home, expand faster, deny his expands, don't take unfavorable trades, keep being mobile.

To be honest I am not sure how useful scouting can be in silver league because your opponent will most likely mess up his opener and timing, so getting an accurate read would be pretty difficult. I think you just need to check that he is not cheesing and focus on executing the BO you are most comfortable with for now.

I'm pretty sure in silver all you really need to scout is army comp and when he moves out. Checking timings won't work well because they likely don't have their timings down.
